This is all I'll share for now to "wet your whistle"!
If you ARE part of a House:
Your Matron Mother orders you to take on a cooperative mission with other houses and their members. Although strange, and unordinary you don’t ask questions and agree.
If you ARE NOT part of a House:
Eight "drow watchers" pull you into a secluded area as you wander the outskirts of Menzoberranzan and say, "you've been selected to do some work for the houses. Failure to agree will result in your immediate death". You know you have no choice and agree.

DM Speaks:
It was great we could get together for the Zoom call tonight. Here's where we begin next week:
IMPORTANT BULLET POINTS
• You are all drow.
• You have no connection to each other up until the start of the campaign.
• You are all from the City of Menzoberranzan.
• None of you are or were slaves.
• You are to tell no one (drow or otherwise) of what you're doing other than the ones you travel with.
•
CAMPAIGN START BULLET POINTS
• Each of you have been called to "duty" due to some area of expertise you possess.
• Your area of expertise is determined to be an asset for the success of the mission.
• You are being given the opportunity of "departure" from your house or connection to the City if you succeed in the endeavor.
• The reason you were chosen is your unknown, unimportant and inexperienced drow status.
• Failure to succeed or any furtive plans of not completing it will result in death. No connection to your house should be offered if captured.
MISSION
• You are being sent to the Dark Lake which is one of the largest subterranean lakes in the Underdark to locate a staff called Tempest.

With a sad heart I must announce that all members of the Sea Dogs have died. I'm going to speak openly here so take no offense or anger against me. It was a completely one-sided battle. Desicus easily eliminated the group with not more than a brush of damage to his hide. He was still fully healthy with all defenses up. His beloved Beluri was completely uninjured with all her powers ready to be unleashed. The two were more powerful than you anticipated, and the Sea Dogs were not prepared for their assault.
They were aware you'd come back and were prepared. Their simple levitation magic caused issue but more importantly Desicus's massive spell assault is what did you in. He proved his supreme ability and the talk of Beluri being the true power was easily dismissed after his demonstration. Desicus destroyed you and proved you should have never come back to challenge him.
You came with everything and everyone you knew calling back Taladel and Viceak and now all are dead.
Desicus and Beluri sit down, relax and have a drink of blood or taste of flesh from each of your bodies.
• To their delight Quavol's flesh has a wonderful but salty taste. They enjoy eating him.
• Tasting Ollie they throw it to the rats disgusted by its worthless taste of piss and salt!
• Sadly, the thighs of Sindrax's are quite tuff having no fat and all muscle. Not enjoyable,
• Next, they take a bite of Viceak, but spit it out quickly stating dwarf meat has no taste.
• Picking up the corpse of Kylor they bite into his cheek tasting his sourness and spitting it out.
• Looking at Taladel, they spit on his body and then delight on pissing on it. No eating, just disgrace.
Finishing their humanoid pallet Desicus and Beluri say:
"THE SEA DOGS HAVE BEEN BEATEN, EMBARRASSED AND NOW CONSUMED. HOW MUCH MORE CAN THEY BE DISGRACED!"
THE END

We are finally at the end of our Desicus and Beluri situation with the Sea Dogs amassing an army to defeat him. Cowards!
One side will win, and one will lose. I'm pretty confident on the outcome so start rolling up new characters.
It was a modest start to the battle with many protections on the hallway and door. The group was able to dismiss most which was great. There is another door opposite the Desicus area. Is that to be ignored? Maybe, but are they and will they aid Desicus in the final, battle. Surprises await and it would be greatly helpful if Viceak was with the group in this final encounter with the great Demon Lord Desicus and his beloved Beluri!
PETE, what a delight to have you at the game tonight! Thanks for joining us! Always missed and welcome!

After more exploration of Dwakkah the group has decided to head back to the Abyss and challenge Desicus and Beluri!
WOW!
Completely unexpected, but I'm certainly looking forward to it as I'm so excited for this epic battle. It is so cool that Taladel has rejoined the group for this mission and now Mike will be playing 2 PC's! Awesome, unexpected and one of a kind! Curious to see how it plays out!
In the end I feel this will be either a TPK or Desicus and Buluri will die.
I do NOT think this will be a battle where either side flees! This will be for "all the marbles" and as DM I am excited for it to happen! Let's get it on and see if the Sea Dogs continue or their end is by the upcoming Demon Lord Desicus!

DM Speaks: What a game, what a game. Always fun.
The group once again battled a number of Xulgath successfully and in reality, quite easily. The group is tuff.
Additionally, through more exploration you came across a Planar Angel named Whoolishee. He was kind and helped bring many members within the group to the ways of good.
The group also found an intelligent long sword named "Mercy" who spoke in a deep voice claiming it can be any weapon the wielder desires. The name sounds like one of good but who knows as we end the game with the group speaking with this intelligent weapon.
Quavol has also done very well with building alliances in the deep sea of Dwakkah. He has always wanted this environment and has gotten it for quite some time doing a great job with his sea folk so far! Nice job!
We start next week in ROOM #30.

After more exploration and encounters we start next week at an area called "The Deva". Deva means a famous female opera singer, a god of divinity, one of order, or an evil spirit of a self-important person. Hmmmm?
I'd guess most important is how the Sea Dogs feel Ollie is fitting in? Is he one to continue? Captain Bluebeard "signed" him up, but does that mean the group cannot bring to the captain's attention one that is not worthy? Hmmm?
I have surprises and many things ahead! Just waiting for the right time as in Dwakkah you are somewhat protected from these. That in NO WAY means I want you to leave this area as I love the exploration, but there is much awaiting when you leave. I want all Dwakkah to be explored as I feel it is great fun and has great mystery and battle.
Hope you are having fun in Dwakkah as I believe you are getting close to its end with exploration. Closer, not done!

The ship we have is FANTASTIC! Serves absolutely every need and purpose for a seafaring voyage and battle. I brought up getting another for sea battles and also for the 2nd vessel that you now have. I already reached out to Pete and asked if his son could put the boat together and he said he'd love to do it.
However, I don't know where Sean found this so I will wait for him to post a link so we can get an idea of its cost. I figure I'll paint this one up a slightly different color to differentiate it from the Wicked Wench. Thoughts?

We start next week in Dwakkah ready to investigate the Kingdom Castle. A good number of Sea Elves were seen perched on top of the largest building in this area looking to protect it and disallow entry. Rumor has it that the Kingdom Castle held the race leaders of all within Dwakkah and currently they are all transformed into undead. A sea elf, a sahuaghin, a kuo toa, a merfolk, etc. All rulers of their race! Is this true? That is yet to be determined.
The group was successful in completing their search in a number of areas with our beloved Blue Face! Ollie traveled with the group into the Deacon Oceans and was quite overwhelmed by its wonders and depth! He was very excited to take on this new chapter in his life adventuring with the Sea Dogs under Captain Bluebeard and Queenie Red. He was excited to prove himself to both as well as the group!
The group battled 2 awesome looking Water Elementals along with many Ardent Zungar. How did that end! 😯

I'm excited to be back in the underwater ruins. There is still so much to explore and gain. However, now you're traveling without Taladel and undead will be a bigger threat! Additionally, you are losing one of great leadership, pride, power and battle capability in the front line. BIG, BIG LOSS!
However, this new guy Ollie is a known friend of Sindrax and a member of the Wicked Wench so hopefully he fits in seamlessly with the Sea Dogs. Only time will tell as the Sea Dogs in general do have trust issues. Will exploring these deep-sea ruins be the demise of the group with their new weaker member or will it be something else such as Desicus and Beluri capitalizing on your weakening! Oh, such a ripe time to wipe out the Sea Dogs!
It was a fun game tonight with epic role playing at the table. Emotions were high, and it showed. It is great how invested we all are with our characters and the game. But remember that a loss can sprout new, fascinating and fun opportunities you may have never expected as a player. Enoy the new opportunity but NEVER forget your past enjoyment!

The Desicus mission, although needed to be done was something I wanted. I was excited about the abyss, its encounters, the Festering Soul Brothel and ultimately the battle with Desicus and Beluri. I'm very happy we were able to run through this challenge with no victory, but all members alive.
However, moving forward I'd like to get your ideas on what you'd like to do. You can specify enemy types, terrain types, adventure goals, specific challenges, and anything else floating in your mind. I do have two missions ready to go, but that does not mean that there can't be many others on the horizon.
I love searching through my adventures and modules for something that meets your desires, but I also love to write something up if I cannot find in them related to what you want.
If you'd like you can post personal desires/missions but keep in mind that along with that I want details on the mission type if possible.

The Sea Dogs have finally taken a step away from Desicus and are about to negotiate with an elf from the Quel' Thalas Forest for different work. An elf, by the name of Selenar Caisilor seems to want the group to undertake something MUCH different than what they've been involved in. Details and payment shall be discussed next week!
Picture of Selenar Caisilor has been posted under pictures! Take a look and browse all the NPC's you've encountered for fun! Gives them "LIFE"!

DM Speaks:
I understand you can argue the post but in the end the group fled and was NOT able to defeat Desicus. Even the paladin has given up hope and decided to leave the Sea Dogs. Desicus will continue his bidding with Beluiri and maybe at some time a group which is brave and strong enough will tackle this challenge which the Sea Dogs abandoned and couldn't accomplish.
I do believe a great deal of the failure was due to the "messages" Desicus sent to each of you (except 1) which led to uncertainty. You may say "no", but the reality is bringing any question into a difficult situation is always bad! Desicus has proven his strength and laughs at EVERY MEMBER of the Sea Dogs.
Unfortunately, with you assault upon him will he bring the offensive to you without question! He is a demonic human who can never be trusted, and he would love to kill you all for fun (and destroy more temples and churches).
DESICUS and BELURI WIN!

Wonderful game tonight with the group having great success in their dealings with the entrance Troll. Good job with that. You also did well in working with the whores you chose in either getting information or simply getting what you did or didn't want. Finally, and most important, you were able to kill both the Cuestodaemon and Barlgura which guarded the doors leading below. WOW!
Next week you start identifying and unlocking the correct door which leads to the chambers of Desicus and Beluri you think!
Hope you are having fun, but I assure you things will only get "better" and more entertaining!

Very eventful night with many encounters and situations. First, we "finished" our dealings with the potion trade Gnome named Piddly Poo. In the end the group was able to get a "group" buy including the potion of invulnerability! It was expensive, but I feel the Sea Dogs feel they ended with what they wanted.
As you moved on you encountered a situation with some crazy albino elves named Azata Wilders. They were a situation to be dealt with and the group recognized their threat and bartered to move past. There is serious question whether they will be back as your wagon leader, Fla' Ness stated. They are dangerous but there were many (20+).
However, you have gotten closer to Desicus as the pull leads you. As a matter of fact, you feel you are just about there! Please add any other fun details I may have missed!
Desicus awaits and knows you approach, and you subtly hear a woman's voice say, "it is time to prepare Desicus"!

What is your prediction on the FINAL battle outcome with Desicus?
If you choose correctly, you will gain 10,000 xp's if your character is still alive and if they die you will come back 1 level higher than typically allowed (4th level instead of 3rd).
Here are your prediction options:
ALL Players Die
3 Players Die and 1 Survives
2 Players Die and 2 Survive
1 Player Dies and 3 Survive
0 Players Die and 4 Survive
It is said when Desicus kills it is forever and there is no chance of being brought back to life by ANY means! Upon death their body is absorbed into the fabric of the Abyss never to be seen again!
MAKE YOUR CHOICE - JUST IN CASE!

GREAT NIGHT OF GAMING!
The encounters were great fun. First was Symperian the Planetar that was bound to the dead black massive tree. In the end he weas left bound but the group promised to release him on their return from the success on their journey. Symperian, wanted this and pushed the group to accomplish their need first.
Another fun encounter was with the troll jumping up and down trying to get out of the Abyss. Kylor "dismissed" him allowing his return to the prime plane. Very good action and hopefully the troll of no known name does right on Krinthius.
The battle with the Nightmare and Blackguard was a challenge and the epic battle of the night. With success the group destroyed the Nightmare, but the Blackguard retreated! What vengeance shall this one of devout evil bring back when most unexpected!
So, much tonight, but I'd gather close to the Festering Soul Brothel where Desicus suposedly resides with his beloved Beluri the Temptress. All have survived so far but let's see moving forward! Do you really think you have a chance on the ABYSS, against Desicus and his demonic lady Beluri the Temptress!
This has been an epic journey so far and the climax has not even been seen!

I hope I have done a good job in giving you a feel of being on a plane of chaos, untrust and deceit, the ABYSS! You have only started your journey to where it is said Desicus resides. You are trusting this tiefling bard named Fla' nell and it does come to question whether she can be trusted (her picture has been posted). This Tiefling is leading you to where Desicus is said to reside. Is this true, do you believe her or is something else going on? We shall see! Fun night on the Abyss and there is SO MUCH MORE that you will encounter on this plane to hopefully give you an even better as to what the ABYSS is.
It was also fun freeing the Planetarm the holy good outsider killing the quasits which guarded it. Can mere quasits be what was protecting such a mighty power of good? Who knows as you have moved on with the Planetars blessing.
Hope you also had fun killing some enhanced vile ghouls and ghasts as well. Pretty fun all-around game!
