DM Speaks: I hope I have done a good job in giving you a feel of being on a plane of chaos, untrust and deceit, the ABYSS! You have only started your journey to where it is said Desicus resides. You are trusting this tiefling bard named Fla' nell and it does come to question whether she can be trusted (her picture has been posted). This Tiefling is leading you to where Desicus is said to reside. Is this true, do you believe her or is something else going on? We shall see! Fun night on the Abyss and there is SO MUCH MORE that you will encounter on this plane to hopefully give you an even better as to what the ABYSS is. It was also fun freeing the Planetarm the holy good outsider killing the quasits which guarded it. Can mere quasits be what was protecting such a mighty power of good? Who knows as you have moved on with the Planetars blessing. Hope you also had fun killing some enhanced vile ghouls and ghasts as well. Pretty fun all-around game!

DM Speaks: After many months of waiting, you have finally decided to travel to the Abyss and destroy Desicus. I am personally very excited and look forward to this confrontation. He's been a thorn in your side for a long time and has grown in strength. Have you waited too long to tackle this demon worshipping individual? Has he now grown too strong? We shall find out as he awaits in the deep, red, steaming recesses of the Abyss! I've had fun with him as an adversary. He has not been overly bothersome but his workings behind the scenes are so evil and warrants action. Yes, he has sent some minions to harass and attack but nothing overwhelming. They almost seem to be fun tactics of Desicus to simply annoy letting you know he is still there. He has much bigger goals than the silly Sea Dogs.

DM Speaks: I'd say tonight was all about battling the different & varied Warforged within the Sanctuary Towers. These battles were significant and some VERY lengthy! In the end the group did well and had no, losses! We start next week ending in Sanctuary Building #6 still looking for the last piece! Fun night and we missed you, Sean.

DM Speaks: So, this is where we start next week about 100 feet away from it. This area screams of vibrant sounds echoing from the 7 coral structures which are stronger than ones you've seen before. You disintegrated one of the doors leading into Sanctuary Building #1 about to enter. Tonight, the group had great success negotiating with the Yanna Dai' Shaiss at the water portal. You also escaped a dealing with aboleth, although I wished as DM that challenge was taken. You saw the Dracolich (Icepta) swimming about! The Bewitching Assassin (Hassaa) was the climax of the night as she was a major enemy, and the battle was won by the group after some scare. Oh, let's not forget about the Dragon Turtles! And of course, the death of the sea elf Quavol who was brought back from the dead and still "rides" with the Sea Dogs and the Wicked Wench! WOW, what a crazy night! What did I forget?

Hey All: I'm thinking of starting another game on the boards after the holidays. This will allow the crazy part of the year to pass and as we move into the lull of January and February we can start. Sadly, the next game I had ready is no longer available since my computer went down a while ago. I can search the title of the game and find it, but it wistfully says the file is "no longer available"! 😥 This means it's time for me to create a new game. But, considering I have this job I wanted to hear ideas or suggestions as to the type of game you'd like? Post your creative thoughts, ideas and desires.

DM Speaks: We end in area #45 with the group potentially seeing the stern of the vessel entwined within the twisting coral of the waters. Shall this piece be easily "picked" or is there more to it? I'd, guess there is more too it, but who knows. Coral is sharp and dangerous but is this coral surrounding this piece of the ship even more? These pieces were held individually amongst the various races as none wanted to give individual power to any one race. All races, however, knew this could be their defense amongst attacks by others. Unfortunately, war amongst the races of Dwakkah never allowed this to happen as they warred amongst themselves to destruction!

I thought I'd add a fun post regarding things you hear when talking to other NPC's, traveling, buying goods, adventuring, etc. These are things you hear while talking to various NPC's that we don't role play at the table. Below I'll post rumors you hear as a group or individual and you can simply do nothing with them or investigate if curious. Is this information true is unknown and the only way to find out is to do research or investigate. Now for fun I've added a little caveat to this post. I'm asking you for a True or False vote for each rumor. Whenever a rumor is posted vote below whether you believe it's TRUE or FALSE. If you guess correctly, you'll gain 500 xp's. DM Speaks: The vote was pretty unanimous with the next mini challenge creature being an: INSECT-TYPE CREATURE We will go with a $20 maximum on the purchase, so it gives a bit of leeway. It must be $20 or less as if you spend more it gives you an advantage over the others. Asking for purchase price evidence is allowed if any question the mini price at the table. The INSECT-TYPE creature is perfect for April as that is when the bugs really start to come out! I'm VERY excited about this challenge. Now, to clarify the allowances the mini can be any real-world insect, a hybrid, a monstrous version, a mini with insect appendages, or anything which resembles a bug!

DM Speaks: I'm glad all are enjoying Dwakkah and its experiences. The group ended tonight overlooking 3 aquarium type settings in these deep waters (Area #20). How can there be aquariums in the ocean? They seem to be fish bowls in a sense. The group finally defeated the Speckled Greens! A Greater Invisibility potion was obtained and given to Sindrax as well. What a fun game and thank you!

DM Speaks: With opportunity to take on Desicus the group decided to finish the mission for Captain Bluebeard. The group decided they are going to take on Desicus and his unknown mystery women after they finish Dwakkah. I am happy the group made this decision and is continuing Dwakkah because I feel the battle with Desicus may be the end of the Sea Dogs and I don't want the Dwakkah write up to go to waste. It was a fun night again with battles and unknown situations. You did a great job tonight as characters! I had a blast and I hope you did!

DM Speaks: The group has astonished the gods and themselves finding another part of the Dragonship! So much more of Dwakkah is left to be explored but the group has come across two of the four items already. Of great interest is that you gave Queenie Red the diamond worth around 100,000 gp's unbeknownst to Captain Bluebeard! Hmmm? There was much battle tonight with the group coming out on top. You finished off the small Chomper Elite with a BIG BITE! You battled some large Speckled Ocean Perch, but most of all you defeated some Sea Trolls. Oh, let me not forget about the gargantuan mimic! Damn, there was a lot of battles tonight! What happened to role playing?🤣

DM Speaks: Much done tonight but we start next week with the chomping sound coming to fruition as the CHOMPER ELITE attacks! What is this creature? I start this as the title of the post for it sounds hungry! A massive battle was done tonight with numerous Speckled Greens. The group came out victorious with some damage. The group also did more exploration of Dwakkah without finding any more items needed, but did come across more magic! We start next week in Area 15, the Dwakkah Entertainment Center! What lies here as we continue to search for the items Captain Bluebeard desires to enhance the Wicked Wench.

DM Speaks: A great deal was done with Quavol establishing a very positive relationship with the Aldani. This may have significant impacts moving forward and is also a huge benefit for Quavol. Sindrax was brought back from the dead, but the priests of Desna were not happy with Kylor and asked him to move to the back of the church during the requested need. Kylor misinterpreted this as leaving the church and the clerics there had issue with his actions. Water Elementals were easily defeated proving the groups strength. Of course, the great Eye of Shadow was also killed in a much more challenging battle, but the group again did succeed. Great night and we move further into our exploration of Dwakkah looking for the remaining pieces. Did I leave any great details out? If I did, please post them for great XP's!

ACTIVE NOW The mission here in Dwakkah has been fantastic but when it's done then what? I have many thoughts and things prepared but as you know I like to get your ideas on what interests you. Below will be a small survey to give me some idea of what you want. Answer here on the boards, and I'll keep a running tally. Will be posted soon and if you have a question, you think would be great to ask, I'd love to hear. Triple XP's for any questions submitted to me that are used. Question #1: Do you enjoy a battle against 1 very powerful enemy or 1 not as strong but has minions aiding them. Question #2: Do you enjoy battles simply for the sake of it or do you prefer MOST BATTLES have significance, connection or importance. Keep the MOST BATTLES in mind when answering. Question #3: Where would you consider your desire for Role Playing vs Roll Playing in game. Give a %. For example, the DM says I like Role Playing (NPC conversation and investigation) at 60% and Roll Playing (battles) at 40%. Should equal 100%. Question #4: Now that you're quite powerful do you have interest in tackling some of the greatest evils on Krinthius such as Lord Garou & the Legion of Sword, the Slave Pits of Dakkuma or the Black Academy. Question #5: Do you have any interest in taking on major evil NPC groups such as the Blackfire Adepts. Question #6: Do you have interest in challenges against dragons? Question #7: If you had to choose, would you want to head into the Underdark or remain on the surface going forward? Question #8: Would you find it fun and like a MAJOR world-shaking event to happen on Krinthius? Question #9: Which player do you think gets "screwed" the most at the game? It can be by DM decisions, their own rolls, other players going against their decisions, getting last choice on magic items, forgetting something important when making a roll or simply they simply have BAD LUCK! Question #10: Do you miss Mianna Fisk (Boom, Shakka, Lakka) and would you like an NPC to join the group?

DM Speaks: We ended tonight with the group magically making their way to Montravail. We start here next week ready for more Dwakkah exploration. Tonight, we battled a couple of beholders (Ghost and Green) and were victorious, but the group knows in each tower resides another of a different type. When will the groups luck run out against these aberrations. Let's not forget that Kylor spoke with his father?! HMMMMM? What mysteries are ahead with this? The group is here to recover the 3 parts for the captain to make his ship into something phenomenal. Will you explore Dwakkah beyond the hopeful recovery of the 3 items or not? We shall see!

DM Speaks: The group identified 4 intact towers within area #9. Many other towers existed within this area at some point, but they are within complete ruin. The group killed the Eye of Shadow guarding Coral Tower #1, and we start next week investigating it and the others! DM Speaks: Tonight, the end result was a huge treasure horde for the group (so many Triad Cards). This treasure was quite different than your typical with many items having benefits within the water. Will this continue? I'd gather but treasure of the surface folk may be stored away for barter and trade. We start next week in Area 10, the Hub, where waters shimmer with luminescence offering a dazzling display. This area was one for enjoyment of the seafolk from when the City of Dwakkah was thriving. You battled but retreated from the Corpse Flowers and then the Spawn of Waves took its toll on the group. These watery creatures have been quite the nuisance, but you've survived besides Sindrax who was resurrected form the dead but suffering some xp loss. So much ahead to look forward to!
