DM Speaks:
I'm always thinking of ways to have you involved in the behind-the-scenes things I do for the game. A fun thing I thought of was to post a picture of a Mage Knight Mini which I would usually repaint. I would have 4 of the same mini. What I'd ask you are what specific paint steps you think I should do on the mini to improve it. You will offer 1 suggestion and then I'd do it and send you an updated picture. I'd then ask you for your nest suggestion on painting it with colors and areas. This would go on for maybe 1-2 weeks and when done I would place all of the repainted minis on the table. You then look at each and vote which color variation you think is best without voting for yourself. The mini voted the best gains 500 xp's with each place lower losing 100 xp's.
This would be fun for me, and I find it great to get your creative ideas painted down on a mini to be used in the game. Be honest and give me your thoughts about this idea. I'd probably ask for most paint steps up front as I usually paint minis fairly quickly, but after done would ask for detail suggestions (but who knows). My guess is I'd do all paint suggestions and then ask a couple of follow up questions for improvements and changes.
Something new which I thought could be fun and creative for both. I'd love to hear thoughts.
DM Speaks with Paint Color Question #1:
What color do you think the human head and torso skin parts should be painted? A general color which I will add to with shading and light-colored variation. If more than one chooses the same color I may ask for a shade (light, medium or dark).
Primal Shifter - Mage Knight - Dragon's Gate Mini
Here are a bunch of pictures to show you what the mini looks like from various angles in its original paint. These angles will help you see all areas of the mini. After your paint suggestions and it being added to the mini, I might send up-to-date pictures of your minis as they are being painted - MAYBE (depending on time).
I POSTED MANY PICKS TO GIVE YOU A GOOD IDEA OF THE MINI AND ITS PARTS/AREAS.
