DM Speaks:
We start next week a couple of rounds into battle with Lysanthir the one you gather has taken control of the Abbey of the Reflecting Mind. Lysanthir is some sort of non-material form of black mist. Checks have not been made to determine what Lysanthir is or to figure out strengths or weaknesses. Maybe next week, maybe not. Let us not forget about the Duergar that is also within the battle on the side of Lysanthir! The duergar is in bad shape and unable to do anything for a couple of rounds so maybe he is of no concern.
Xar' Zin will be back next week to assist the group in battle after 1D3 rounds.
The battle will start at the top of initiative! The continuation of this battle shall be fun!
Sean speaks - It looks like I missed a lot of fun and action, and the group seems to be yo-yoing on their feelings with Menzo .. I wonder why
It seems like there is much to discuss, about what happens after this. All I will say. You are not going to be to have your cake and eat it too. Whatever ever decision each person decides to make, will have consequences. You are not going to Shamath without pissing someone off, big time. In menzo. But I guess we really dont have to think about of any of that. Until will kill this Lysanthir
I will defiantly check to see if I know what this creature truly is.
DM Speaks:
Hoping the outcome with Lysanthir is successful the group still has much to decide. I thought it was decided that the group would continue as they are with their workings with Menzoberranzan and their houses. However, there always seems some slight uncertainty. Things have been good so far. You have been paid for work, have some respect from your houses and have free reign throughout much of the city. And to boot, you are males.
Personally, I find the idea of you trying to establish your own house fascinating, but I understand the risk. I'm OK with you leaving Menzoberranzan, but in fairness I'd be slightly disappointed as I feel the city has so much intrigue and fun to offer. However, if you left, I'm sure I'd have equal intrigue and excitement.
Jevan speaks:
Hopefully we can all have a bonding session at the conclusion of this battle
With that said, the rays of my spell went right through this Being of dark mist...i fear your weapons might do the same....
Linli Speaks:
I think I'm doing better in battle this time my friends. Learning new spells and understanding what to take has helped me. I'm going to kick some misty butt next week, if it has a butt! Hee, hee, hee! Let us go!
Thank Shelyn my Bilsbi was able to be brought back from the dead with my scroll! He is sooo cute!
Also, Nint' Zar you have to lighten up a bit. You are always angry, annoyed, and simply not nice. That makes me sad as being nice is a fun thing. I know you are drow but Jevon and Vesz't are and have been coming around and are quite pleasant to be around. You....NOT SO MUCH.
I don't know Xar' Zin well enough to see where he falls, but I hope he has friendly vibes too.
