DM Speaks:
Tonight, we ended talking with Zilvaran the Old Black Dragon now supposedly controlling the Abbey of the Reflecting Mind. The group killed Lysanthir, but found it was all an illusion created by Zilvaran. What a good illusion it was! It seems Zilvaran was using the illusion of Lysanthir to gain a continuous supply of human/humanoid food. If continued it will allow the Abbey of the Reflecting Mind to operate unabated while it is fed deep below in its dark basement caves.
However, the group proposed a crazy idea to Zilvaran which was to pose as a Matron Mother of a house in Menzoberranzan in disguise as a female drow. In this way it could still easily gain all the "food" it wanted while also working with the group to gain control of the Houses within their city. Zilvaran the Old Black Dragon was intrigued by the situation, and we start next week speaking about the possible details.
How crazy is this storyline and a picture of Zilvaran the Old Black Dragon has been posted under pictures!

A HEARING BY ALL PLAYERS:
SSHHHHHH, you hear that. There is movement on the ground. A distant thunderous sound of footsteps with a thundering cacophony carries through the grounds. What is this you wonder?
DM Speaks:
You guys are attempting to take out a Matron Mother and claim a house in the greatest drow city ever known; Menzoberranzan. This is a huge achievement and if success is possible may lead you to your first step in conquering this city under the rulership of male drow. Can your characters change history in not only our game, but all the books ever written about this city, their people and the dynamics of the matron mothers which dominate it. It will not be easy, but everything can change and happen!
Xar'Zin Speaks- I hear you but this is the best plan we have at the moment. Killing the dragon, the first question that pops into my mind is how. They appear to be physically superior, the wield powerful breath weapons and magic. The have may have numerous immunities to certain types of damage, as well and resistant to magic. So how does one take out such a creature? Are the vulnerable to any particular damage or magic ?? This is a black dragon and we have its name perhaps the has an allergy to gold??
Linli Speaks:
On further thought I don't feel right with this. I don't trust this Zilvaran dragon. It is a black dragon, and they can probably be trusted less than even own your drow people. Personally, I say we kill it or at least try. I think it is a bad idea for you to work with it, but that is ultimately your choice as I am not a member of your city Menzoberranzan and never will be.
Will see how this goes.
Mike speaks:
I really feel like we now have a plan....risky of course....but a good chance of real sustained success
Linli Speaks:
Previously the thought was if you took over a house, I would disguise myself to appear as the Matron Mother. However, I can't deny that this black dragon, Zilvaran would probably do a better job. I also must admit that these plans and thoughts are quite crazy and dangerous. I was a pretty simple traveler before all this and now I'm hearing some outrageous ideas. I'm not against it but I do worry about where my beloved Bilsbi falls in with all this. I guess where I do as well.
