DM Speaks:
In an epic battle the group was able to destroy the shield golems with the aid of Zilvaren, the black dragon. This was a pretty much all-night battle but worth the time.
On a sidenote Zilvaren took Xar' Zin for a little trip to his dark, fetid swamps where he gifted him?
Right now, the group is right below the level of the Matron Mother and using spider climb to traverse the walls of the stalactite. A small beam of white light seems to be coming from a corner of the top portion of the stalactite, but upon observation these beams of various light seem to be coming from other stalactites.
We start next week spider climbing at the top level of the Matron Mother's stalactite ready and trying to enter to destroy her. Zilvaren is not "climbing" with you.
However, what lies beneath this last area?

Astral we know that any alliance is fragile and only last as long as the people are getting what they want. So far our needs and Zilvaren's needs are aligned. I believe Zilvaren's gift to me is designed to demonstrate that he can make us powerful and by working with him will benefit him. I am not saying trust but I will say stop questioning him directly to his face and provide him the respect he deserves we have all seen his power
I dont think anyone trust the dragon. still alert, stay alive.

I am concerned Zilvaren will let his pride be a detriment. He refused help from the group, but it would have been his end if not for our assistance. It is likely a great blow to the draconic viewpoint of total superiority and enormous pride, that a human's magic could mean the difference in his succuss or death.
So much that he threatened the group with death!
DM Speaks:
Exciting to see what plays out next week. I'm sure it will be a battle unless you decide it not to be. Matron Mother Srune Lyriss Lett is in her quarters I assure you that. However, with who and what I shall not share.
I'm wondering what happens next week and where the game goes. Too many different scenarios to even post but in short it could be a TPK, victory or so many in between situations. If victory occurs the doors open wide for the group (along with Zilvaren and Linli)!
