Thank you for making tonight an easy go with fleshing out all new characters. You were very helpful, and patient as we got it all done. Well almost all but I'll do the final things this week. Let us say hi to our new group:
Xandor Speaks: Zartan and Viceak you have been silent .. your thoughts on this matter could be helpful. I am sure you both have a perspective that has not been discussed.
Xandor Speaks:Taladel and Warvok offered two perspectives that I can support fully. We have to first see if we can assist Principal Pouessal and/or at least confirm his fate. I have a particular skill that could assist in this matter. I also agree that we will need to keep our promise to Principal Pouessa and explore The Halls of the Beast Tamers for it may have information that the Great City of Montravail could use and the second was TheLabyrinthian to test our skills, which I believe he wanted us to do in order to prove ourselves and each other our value. So before we entertain the conversation of how to return to Montravail we have some things to do.. Now if Principal Pouessal is still alive that is a different conversation and his survival and safety become our primary focus.
I saw on your previous post, that you think this might be your best starting story. I have to agree with that. Even though I really liked Felwood. The felwood story had a little limations to what classes you could bring in, to fit into Felwood. With this new story line, coming from Montravail. You could bring anything and make it fit.
Here are the starting background stories that remeber. Starting with the most recent from 5 years ago, felwood.
1) The Felwood starting story, with the Dash and Drop.
2) We had that starting story, with being in that bar, with the gnomes. The bar was a front for something. and we all kind of stopped there, by accident.
3) When we are captured and ended up in the Dekuma mines and had to escape. This was also the start into the pathfinder game, breaking away from WoTC
4) I believe this was when we all started as underdark races. But we didn't play the underdark thing, for very long because it just didn't fit right into the game. I do think a few people still played there underdark races. because I remember the goblin rogue. Nimar Glore was around till the end. And so was Christens character the drow cleric. I was a drider, and I had to change.
Prior to that I don't remember what we did starting as new characters. I think the underdark races, might have been my first TPK starting story.
We need to see what happened to him. We can't just leave him. He wouldn't do that us. And I won't do that to him. We know what his dying wish would be for us. But he ani't dead yet. Not unless we see for ourselves.
I will say, right off the bat. We have some important decisions to make, already. Do we go back, do we run, do we go to another building?
And not only that. How do we get back Montravail. That is an adventure, in itself. Getting back there. No one has teleport, or transfer via plant anymore. We are doing it, the old fashion way.
You spelled my guys name wrong. Its Warvok, not worvok. All.good. it's all brand new. I am looking forward to all the new fun and adventure s we are going to have with this group of many races.
The thought of this Demon Lord pursuing the group is overwhelming. I know I, and we are not near the point of being able to challenge him..but I am compelled not to run from it by fleeing Myth Drannor. I want to honor our Principal by fulfilling his plan for us, and go the Hall of Beasts and the Labyrinthian. My proud father and his group, Legion of the Divine, have never run from an evil Demon, so neither shall I. Iomedae will see us though, I pray to her!
Let's get some XP's by posting your thoughts. New campaign, new characters and new XP's! I'm, excited. Hope you are and if you're not "step to the curb" as I will bring Rob back to replace ya'! That is such a great threat isn't it - being replaced by Rob. OUCH!
This is an exciting time. You are new characters on a fresh adventure. I am excited without question!
To make this the most EPIC group of all time think about your last group. Your feather in your cap was HUGE. You helped save the world against the illithids of Penumbra! WOW, that is big time and almost impossible to match. So, what can you do to become major heroes?
Maybe on the other hand you don't care and are just out for monetary gain, adventure or killing. Whatever your plan I think as a group you have to feel leadership by their roleplaying plus. Who cares about class and race unless that is an issue for your character? You should judge situations as to who steps up, offers great ideas, talks their ass off well, instills confidence, instills leadership and leads. Leads to someone that will lead you to a chosen destination, is always moving forward, is in front on all situations, has no fear, takes the first step but most important has answers in uncertain situations.
Now, the title of this post revolves around you magnificent Gifted Students of Montravail and being stuck in Myth Drannor. Your instructor Principal Pouessal appears to have been eliminated or at least significantly injured by a Pit Fiend from the Abyss. You all fled but feel compelled in the honor and name of your beloved principal to search out and record 2 rooms: the Labyrinthian and the Halls of the Beast Tamers which were what he wanted.
Will you search out these two building here in Myth Drannor for Principal Pouessal or will you simply look for a way out of this elven deadfall. I'd think considering the story line and your love of Principal Pouessal you might, but it is all up to you. Even if you find your way out of the borders of Myth Drannor you have no idea where you are on Krinthius and how to get back to your safe haven of Montravail? What will you do in these vast lands of Krinthius?
Frightened? I am for you and the evil DM is prepared for anything. Sad reminder but I am not invested in these new characters as much you. If they're gone tomorrow the evil DM laughs - ha, ha, ha and gets ready for the next group of cattle to be slaughtered. Right now, I don't even know your character names! Easy end for me with a bad decision on your part. Prove me wrong and start your quest to be heroes!
Now before there is a riot, I'm only kidding. I am routing for ya and think this is a fantastic start to the group and honestly might be my favorite start to date. That's why our world and game is the best! The good and bad unknown!
With that being said I am looking forward to this cast of misfit characters but doubt their long-term survivability! I will play the unequivocal, undaunted DM I always do. I'd love success but will not cry with failure with new characters as you may. I did cry for Aymon and Radan!

Yeah, I think they were all great starts....hard to pick!
