DM Speaks: A greatly successful night with Linli's Minions defeating the Matron Mother Srune Lyriss Lett! She ruled the 18th House in Menzoberranzan and now the group along with Linli and Zilvaren have conquered it. A greatly successful and eventful night! This was a worrisome mission and something I did not know if you'd be successful in doing. Strangely, the Matron Mother Srune Lyriss Lett has been left alive due to negotiation, offering and pleading. Her plea is that she will aid the group in taking control of more houses! Is she to be trusted? Should she be allowed to live? Many, many questions with this and it is great we held this thought and an outcome for next week as this is all a HUGE DECISION! Let's start it on the boards! On a very positive note, the group acquired a tremendous amount of treasure by Matron Mother Srune Lyriss Lett giving you the way to it offering its location. CONGRATULATIONS ON A TOP TIER DANGEROUS FIGHT!

DM Speaks: In an epic battle the group was able to destroy the shield golems with the aid of Zilvaren, the black dragon. This was a pretty much all-night battle but worth the time. On a sidenote Zilvaren took Xar' Zin for a little trip to his dark, fetid swamps where he gifted him? Right now, the group is right below the level of the Matron Mother and using spider climb to traverse the walls of the stalactite. A small beam of white light seems to be coming from a corner of the top portion of the stalactite, but upon observation these beams of various light seem to be coming from other stalactites. We start next week spider climbing at the top level of the Matron Mother's stalactite ready and trying to enter to destroy her. Zilvaren is not "climbing" with you. However, what lies beneath this last area?

DM Speaks: The group has done well making their way up the stalactite of Nintr' Zar's House of Srune' Lett. You were able to kill a Draegloth guardian as well as drow priests of the house. However, on floor 5, supposedly 1 floor before Matron Mother Srune' Lyris Lett you encountered 3 Shield Golems which seemed way beyond your capacity. You start next week in battle with these significant guardians of the house. On another note, Nint' zar took direction of the Black Dragon Zilvaran to strike each of his party members in the face! Shocking to say he followed the dragon's direction without question. Irony or not Nint' Zar was killed by the steel guardians and had to be raised by Linli using a personal scroll. Many bad actions by one member but who cares - HE IS DROW! We start next week with some knowledge on these Shield Golems. • Immune to any spell or spell-like ability that allows spell resistance. • They have a shield block ability which has a 25% chance per attack by an enemy to cause an electrical charge to strike back at the attacker. • Powerful Blows - Adds 1 1/2 times its strength bonus to damage rolls.
