So, we start next week just killing a dangerous enemy, a Medusa! The good news is none were turned to stone during the battle. Additionally, the group found a Deck of Many Things! Many chose and the results were as expected both good and bad. However, in the end it seemed all ended fairly well.
Now, Viceak was compelled to rescue some old dwarf, but that can wait as the cards said. Also, there is more to this story that only Viceak knows!
The exploration of the Borderlands continues with more mysteries awaiting next week! I hope you are enjoying them as much as I am! It's been a fun ride so far!
Taladel speaks:
I want to caution the group that we should try to avoid a battle with this group if we can. I do not sense evil from them..and we should try to come to some agreement regarding our mission..With that said, if they outright attack us...we will defend ourselves!
Kylor Speaks it was strange watching Viceak turn to dust and rematerialize. I strangely accepted as his earthen nature needing to settle and restructure itself for some reason.
It has been refreshing like a strong wind blowing cool air how our group is finding balance and each is finding their own role and grove within the group.
For we each bring so much to the group. Speaking o groups this Allis Habba Al sounds like they will indeed be an issue for us, we will need to be prepared for anything. from them. It sounds like they are trying to steal our job/task here within the Boarderlands and take credit for our work.
This is indeed a foul smell that we should not tolerate. Captain Bluebeard would not be happy if we allowed this group to undermine us and our work here.
Allis Habba Al' Speaks:
Well, it seems all is done here. I'd gather it's time to investigate the area where that other group said they would. Be prepared for battle as they seem a bit stubborn as well as stupid and don't recognize when another band of adventurers are far superior. If they choose to die so, be it. They can simply leave and allow us to complete what we were commissioned for.
DM Speaks:
Every week we bring a great game to the table. We don't have down weeks. Every week is action packed full of surprises by both the DM and you as players with your decisions and choices. As has always been the case the Game is Great with all of us adding to its greatness. Thank you for being a part of my weekly enjoyment!
However, that won't stop my NPC's and monsters from killing ya'!
Posting an obvious bonus XP gain here. The word to email, say, or text me is HABBA! Doing this gains ya' 500 xp's.
Allis Habba Al'!
It was definitely quite a night !
The Deck of Many Things once again proved to be a blessing and a curse!
I chose 3 picks
1st pick - Flames Card - I would take double damage from fire damage permanently
2nd pick - Thrones Card - I inherited 250,000 gp's
3rd pick - Rogue Card - One of the 4 of you had to attack me , randomly it was Viceak
We both battled and both nearly died. Group was able to subdue Viceak.
Once he was unconscious, the need to attack me ceased
We also came upon a potion of Wish, which I luckily won the roll for
I used it to remove the curse of the permanent double damage from fire
In the end , I had a great outcome from the deck
Great night , we all had a blast!
Missed you at the table. Hope you're feeling better
I will allow the recipients of their chosen cards to reveal their results! However, missing a possible choice sucks whether you choose or not. These opportunities do not come up that often.
Wow looks like I missed a very eventful game. A Medusa and the famous Deck of many things in the same game. I can only imagine the excitement of finding that deck and watching everyone choose their cards. Maybe it was good that I missed. Because I defentifly would have chosen at least one card. And my luck with the deck, has never really been that good. I am very curious to know how the deck went for everyone. Did anyone make out, really good with the deck?
