DM Speaks:
The Desicus mission, although needed to be done was something I wanted. I was excited about the abyss, its encounters, the Festering Soul Brothel and ultimately the battle with Desicus and Beluri. I'm very happy we were able to run through this challenge with no victory, but all members alive.
However, moving forward I'd like to get your ideas on what you'd like to do. You can specify enemy types, terrain types, adventure goals, specific challenges, and anything else floating in your mind. I do have two missions ready to go, but that does not mean that there can't be many others on the horizon.
I love searching through my adventures and modules for something that meets your desires, but I also love to write something up if I cannot find in them related to what you want.
If you'd like you can post personal desires/missions but keep in mind that along with that I want details on the mission type if possible.
I already emailed some ideas. However, the type of missions that I think would be fun and exciting is an old-fashioned dungeon crawl where a horde of magic and treasure could be found. I feel that we can get that in a number of places such as The Emerald Spire or Dwakkah. I do have my concerns about Dwakkah due to the severe drop in power without Taladel. There is the Dracolich, the Dark Queen, and so many other evil and nasty creatures down there where having a powerful paladin would be a benefit. Alas, we are moving forward with the new addition, hopefully we can find some encounters that will allow him to test his skills and mettle without causing his death. As we venture into these new challenges, let's keep the spirit of camaraderie and perseverance alive, remembering that every setback is a stepping stone towards our ultimate success. United in purpose and driven by our shared goals, we will continue to write the story of the Sea Dogs, one daring adventure at a time.
DM Speaks:
I'm glad the group is returning to Dwakkah especially now with a new member. Reason is in Dwakkah there are varied levels of challenges. You just have to be smart in which you choose. This is a great opportunity for a new character to gain levels before you decide to tackle some of the more challenging encounters and areas.
Additionally, and I can't lie, I personally love Dwakkah. It's a fun environment and location with mysteries abound and no "story" to follow. You can go where you want with each area being something totally different. Looking forward to more exploration of it!
Sean and Dan give me your thought when you can
thinking will respond
I definitely as playing a Druid prefer adventuring on the prime plans
All different types of terrain are good with me as I can adapt to almost any situation
I definitely think since the group is mistrusting of each other I other , neutral type missions are great
I definitely wouldn’t mind returning to Dwakkah
The sea is my home and I would love to uncover more of its mysteries
Right now I wish to return to Dwakaa....
