So, we end in the owlbear lair destroying the nasty classic beast! We start next week continuing to explore and rid any dangerous creatures. That is your job and what your being paid for.
Being an adventurer is as challenging as I always thought. In watching my father's great career with the "Legion of the Divine", he was often injured badly and needed the healings of our great Goddess, as well as the magics of our elven people to press on.
We have no idea what we may encounter here. And who is this figure with the black armor and his cohorts? We are early in our endeavors and must be cautious. We need more information here
I will pray to Iomedae for the valor and strength to be victorious against all challenges that may come our way!
I agree with you Sean especially at this low level and being very vulnerable. Play it smart and safe as best as you can. However, there is the inevitable death or unconscious situation which can arise at such low levels regardless of how well you play. As I've said before the world is a dangerous place for low level characters.
Xandor Speaks: Not rushing through these area, has given us a tactical advantage. The creatures we have faced don't seem to be very intelligent which has also been to our advantage. That doesn't mean that they were not challenging; the owlbear was powerful it could take hits and return those hits back in kind. The grey oozes, were difficult due to the fact there was no easy way to get rid of them that we knew of. Much of our time was was trying things to see what would work. We know now that they are immune to fire and cold attacks. We worked together to overcome these challenges, which unscored what our beloved Principle told us, we are stronger together united.
Sean Speaks: We faced three grey oozes and a Owlbear. This are the classic Dungeon & Dragons monsters; what I love is that nothing has been easy .... each encounter has been terrifying and edge of our seats. This has been great for me as a player and our story is great. thank you
