The longer we wait to confront him, the stronger and more influential he becomes...
We have moved forward with business and it has been stated he has not moved against us and was not an immediate problem for our group.
Now he has one of our members parents hostage, and the time has come to end this.
We must all be united in this. If you have any reservations, remember, it could be your parents or someone or something you care about in time.
Hopefully we can get the Captains blessing.,,,we are in the middle of his business, so must make a very humble request on this..
DM Speaks:
With my anxiety to post and not starting this week's post topic, I'll add here.
I think we all know this will come to fruition at some point. The question is whether it will be through the group's action or Desicus?
I will be honest that Desicus remembers you as a nuisance but has no interest and simply laughs when you come to mind. He feels he has gone so far past you.
Just some insight into the next RULER OF THE........(which you allowed).
Kylor Speaks- SeaDogs, Before the Captain provided us with this mission in Dwakkah, Taladel used his trump to ensure we took out Desicus. However, due to the Captain's need, Taladel set that aside. As we have explored the ruins of Dwakkah, Desicus has grown in power. Desicus now has my mother, father, and brother as his prisoners. I am grateful you were with me, for I feel that I would have been taken out if I was alone. Taladel is right we must be united in this. The best way not to anger Captain Bluebeard is to not ask. It is easier to ask for forgiveness when we bring back the other two pieces of the boat, to the Captain. Right Now, we have the allowance to take our time and explore the ruins, so long as we finish our task and find the other two pieces the Captain will be happy. That said, I believe if we present the task of taking out Desicus correctly we will have the blessing of Captain Bluebeard to do this task. At the same time, I am sure the Captain tires of us bothering him with things he does not care about, so we need to present it was that it affects him.
DM Speaks Again:
I've crafted, painted and prepared a mini for the potential Desicus confrontation that I'm very proud of. it is nothing large and is truly a medium mini, but I think it fits what I wanted perfectly and will be an awesome mini to place down. This mini has HUGE significance to the Desicus story. It is a figure I made using various parts of other minis to meet my need.
I can see why Desicus loves her, or it because I do 🤗!
I knew at some point. We would be going after Dessicus. But I definitely didnt think it would have been this soon. I was hoping to stay in Dakkah for a while longer. It seems like it was becoming very prosperous, for us. So, here we go.
DM Speaks:
Although I have had the Desicus mission written I had not pulled the minis yet. I thought you'd be in Dwakkah for quite some time so didn't see the need. However, with the situation and discussion last week I felt I should have it ready in case you decide this is what you need to do.
Dwakkah is still ready so if you go that direction we continue with that fun, but Desicus is waiting with all stats written and minis pulled.
I think the Desicus situation and battle will be something much different than you expect.
Taladel is a lawful individual as are some of the others. We have committed to doing this for the Captain.
We can inform the Captain of what has happened to Kylor's parents and can only hope he allows the group to deal with this..
As much as Taladel desires to end this conflict, his word is his bond and would have to honor the commitment made to the Captain..
And yes as John said, we don't want to anger him....but how can we wait with his parents captured?
DM Speaks:
I understand and agree with your point Taladel. However, then you have the Captain and his desire. You have wonderfully included Captain Bluebeard's hopeful acceptance of your need, but damn you have come up with personal needs more than once which he has been gracious enough to allow. When are your requests too much and Captain Bluebeard gets angry? Regardles of how tough the group thinks they are you might not want to feel the Captain's wrath!
And thanks for starting the post, Mike. Double XP's for it!
