DM Speaks:
It seems the decision is to take on the soul stealing, church toppling, red-faced demonic individual named Desicus next week! Let us see how this plays out as there is a possibility of a TPK which has not happened in forever. Do you really want to take him on as it seems 100% your choice.
You also did not complete the Ashtire Shadowsphere. I guess the Nagas were too much of a threat. Are you simply looking for cakewalk battles or are you willing to take a chance against foes which impose some danger. You know how it appears to me 😉! I guess as pirates of the Wicked Wench that makes sense - minimal risk for maximum gain.
DM Speaks Again:
You all know Desicus has a plan, but this comes from the one he follows who is way more powerful than he is. The Sea Dogs are tough and can challenge but at what cost. Fun!!!!
DM Speaks:
Desicus can wait as the Sea Dogs have gained a new traveler (not member yet) and are looking for treasure! If Desicus should try something beneath the waves of the Deacon Ocean, then so be it as the Sea Dogs will be ready!
Quaivol speaks:
I thought my dealings with Desicus were done , it appears that is not the case
Let us just be done with this one way or another!
I grow tired of this and I have other things in life I need to do
Kylor Speaks: SeaDogs, each of us has experienced life-changing events, whether through loss, personal sacrifice, or moments of revelation. These experiences have the power to push us beyond our own desires and self-interest, to open our eyes to something greater. Speaking for myself, if I am to fail, I will do so while striving to make a positive impact on our world. It took the loss of Viceak and Halwat to Desicus for me to truly realize this. Dealing with Desicus must become our top priority; no other mission holds greater significance at this point. We are accountable for allowing Desicus to remain unchecked for so long. I personally take responsibility for my initial naivety and disregard for Taladel's warnings. I wish I had heeded Taladel's words earlier. Instead of believing that Taladel was pushing his agenda of goodness and the need to battle evil. Facing Desicus will undoubtedly be challenging. He is well-prepared, has numerous allies, and possesses abilities we do not fully comprehend. Nevertheless, he is not invincible. With unity and cooperation, victory is within our reach. Let us be brave and confident in our skills and brothers, and make this another great victory for the SeaDogs.
DM Speaks:
Yes, this post is about the intellectual, demonic, madman named Desicus. We all know there will be a time when this battle occurs. However, you always like to have the environment and location to your advantage. That's a great battle plan but I believe if you are to take out Desicus you may have to go to him. I'm not 100% certain but I feel it is a high probability. You always surprise me, so I try to prepare for anything unexpected.
So, what is with this mini I just bought? Desicus related? Hmmmmm? Can't wait to paint her up for who and what she is! I wouldn't generally buy this type of mini unless there was a specific need. She is not your typical "random encounter"!
DM Speaks Again:
If the Desicus hunt begins this week I am fully ready and excited. I think you will be as well, but quite worried at where this may lead you.
Eliminating Desicus will be one of the most epic battles you've played with me. I am pretty certain of this for a few reasons.
-The 1st is he's hated, and I'd gather you'd love to eliminate him.
-The 2nd is he's a demon worshipper (their type is never liked even by ones of the same belief).
-The 3rd is his length of time in game (he lingers doing his evil deeds of murder & desecration).
-The 4th is the battle should be long, hard-fought and epic on both ends with results unknown.
-The 5th is when you do battle, I'm sure it will be in a situation which will warrant excitement.
-The 6th is I LIKE HIM as an NPC and want his story to continue so will NOT hold punches in battle.
I'd gather I can list more but you get it. If you wish to share thoughts on Desicus please do as. I'll give you 2x the xp bonus per post considering he is one of my favorite bad guys of recent memory and one that has really not bothered you directly. However, he still rates as a hated NPC! Interesting as this may be the first time where such a hated NPC has not been directly causing harm to the group but is still so disliked.
And here walks Desicus down a church of his conquering for his great Demon Lord Beluri!
DM Speaks:
And make sure you saw my smiling emoji with my comment above. I'm only teasing.
After being turned to stone. I'd rather die doing something for me, or other people. Then dyeing inside this temple.
If we were looking for cake, we wouldn't be going back to face Desicus...he likely doesn't have any baked goods at all...

Let me share a cool battle terrain pic of tonight!
