DM Speaks: With Linli and Bilsbi "alongside" to a point the group entered Menzoberranzan. Heading to the pub after obtaining the staff they were met with members of each of their houses. Each house member sat at a different table and did not associate with the other besides House Fey Branche and House Srune Lett which sat at the same table which was surprising. All members had serious discussion about their recovery of the Tempest Staff but in the end were left with "freedom". As the members of each house left the group was left in the puib alone with no others. Then, unexpected the bartender approached the group. He did not offer his name initially and said he'd like to speak with them. he overheard their distrust and disgust with the matron mothers and the way Menzoberranzan was run. He expressed that so was he and that he was part of a secret male organization whose goal was to eliminate all the matron mothers and make Menzoberranzan a male dominated society. he said he has many connections, and his group was more powerful and organized than you'd feel. Hearing his words was intriguing but they informed him that they needed to assist a friend of their (Linli and Bilsbi) in some work fist which was to assassinate a drow. The pub owner who eventually offered his name as Taras 'Ynor said he was fine with the group doing this but asked for them to return to him after to discuss. We ended here.

DM Speaks: Tonight, we discussed what would be the most enjoyable post/board game to play next. It seems the majority felt some sort of combat game would be best. A game involving battles between minions/characters was in high opinion. In hearing this my initial thought is to develop a team of 1 leader and 5 minions. Each week you would choose 1 to engage in battle with the winner obviously gaining the most points. Thats where we are with the thought right now. However, please give additional thoughts and ideas on how this game could be different and fun than others.

DM Speaks: I had a lot of fun with tonight's game. It was great having a full house but also your role playing and interest in events. You finally defeated all the remaining duergar zombies aboard the Grendol. You also recognized how to deal with the large earth elemental on the below deck. That was excellent reasoning and figuring out what to do. Great job as the elemental could have been a dangerous opponent. After retrieving the Tempest Staff, the group moved off to meet Linli a female gnome. She was very friendly and open. She was quite charismatic and wanted the group to return to Menzoberranzan to eliminate an individual. Basically, kill; them. The group was very hesitant to accept this as they had recently left Menzoberranzan and do not want to return of fear of being captured and brought back to their houses. Linli, however, said she knows a way in and out where none would see. She assures the group that this job can be done seamlessly and if done she would love to join and lead the group. The group already decided she would be leader, and she is now looking for you to gain trust in her. Her words to the group are "Trust me as best you can. I am not here to guide you in a poor direction. I am here to make us the best and gain power and prestige. Work with me on this and you will have my undying favor. Well, mine and Bilsbi as well. Please let us do this as it is so important to me".
