I cannot make a post tonight without saying what an excellent job the group did as players and characters. I threw a pretty difficult challenge to figure out but you did. Niha Zozuft was a test of Iomedae and eventually things were figured out, but the battle with her was fierce and dangerous! I enjoyed it and now she can potentially be a strong ally. Fun and ironic!
Next week you're ready to magically travel to the northern tip of the Anuaroch Desert. From there you'll travel the deadly, scorching sands south to the unknown calling of Sindrax.
Will there be dangers, battle, intrigue and refreshing goodness on your travel I'd guess "yes"!
Kylor speaks: What do we know of the Great Anuaroch Desert, other than it has sand and is hot and dry ???
Are we prepared for such a travel ??
I also have concerns about the magical intelligent sword and the fact Iomedae used the sword as part of her test underscores the potential danger this weapon can pose to the group.
I am thinking this may just be, the first of many tests for you Taladel. I am sooo glad, you passed. And she is all good and back to fighting evil, and not us anymore. But you know, that sword could still be a problem, later on.
Taladel speaks:
So it turns out that the encounter with Niha Zozuft was all a test of my abilities and judgment as a Paladin of Iomedae. We knew she was very powerful. And I knew that facing her was going to likely lead to my death. But I knew it was through my death that I, through my goddess, could redeem my fellow Paladin. Iomedae is always my strength and my valor. And even in the face of this test, it would be no different.
I also saw my friends come to my aid, even after me telling you not to. For that I am thankful in the end.
It seems I have passed my test, and was told there may be big plans for me at some point, perhaps later in my elven lifetime. I am with the Captain for now and am content. And I am getting a glimpse of what may come after for me...
Thank you again my friends. We are off to the desert!
