So, we end the game with the group finally exiting the Labyrinthian and moving off to rest in a small building in Myth Drannor. However, while resting a voice calls forth from beyond the door beckoning you. This voice seems ready to enter and does not seem to be an ally. There has been assumption that it is Csarker the Lich! Yeah, this undead guy! This is where we begin next week!

Count Chocula needs to be watched! Exhibits suspicious behavior and has a bizarre accent.
😛
Xandor Speaks: Anyone else find it strange that Zartand has been extremely quiet during all of this? I wonder if he knows more than he has said? Could this person out side actually be Zartand's father that he has talked so much about ??
Sean Speaks: Yes, it would have been great to have explored the entire Labyrinthian and have discovered all of its secrets.
I agree Pete. would have loved the group to have explored the entire Labyrinthian!
Warvok Speaks
I am glad to see you will be joining us taladela, with our escape route. I remember the professor once saying, there is knowledge to be gained by retreating .We are definitely stronger, together. Let's us excute this escape route with as much stealth as possible. And then we just continue in the same direction. I would also like to add, if somehow we get separated, let's us meet up at the labyrinth. Not inside it of course but on the outside of the building itself.
Taladel speaks:
I doubt the group will be able to execute an escape without some engagement of one of us. I suppose we could make an attempt and then if necessary I will confront this great evil. Although I do not fear a death being united with my Iomedae...I do realize I have a destiny to yet fulfill.
I would like to know who this great evil is...as one day, I must return and destroy this vile being. It is part of said destiny. Blessings to all in this
Pete Speaks:
A bit disappointing that we were unable to complete the Labyrinthian! Would have been cool to explore in it's entirety.
Glaze my War Hammer..can this foe be the strange looking individual we mocked and left behind at the museum??? One way or another, we need to high tail it out of here. He annihilated a gang of worg and we may be next! While I’m compelled to take this filth head-on, I don’t believe we would last more than one round. Run “Gifted’ Run!
DM Speaks:
Play your characters how you'd like. I'm a fair DM and recognize the group's strength at this current time. I would never put you in a situation where you didn't have options or a chance. However, survival still does require making good and prudent decisions.
Dan, I'm not sure if your comment is sarcasm, silliness or truth from your character? Hmmm?
Xandor Speaks: "Never make a sacrifice that will make you feel miserable or kill you" Taladel allow me to ask these to questions... 1) IF you feel a strong evil and you know that you will not be successful in its defeat what do you hope to accomplish with your sacrifice? 2) IN this situation what do you think our great mentor Principal Pouessai would say about being compelled to do a task ? My friend, you are more than just a Paladin, you are also the future of Montravail. Does the sacrifice of the citizens of Montravail mean so little to you that you would be so quick to give your life away. Remember our education is paid for by the city, with the honor bound agreement that we will serve Montravail, However, the choice is yours ... if you feel so compelled so be it. And as Warvok said "Your sacrifice will be remembered".
Warvok speaks
That sounds like an excellent plan. Your sacrifice will be remembered.
Taladel speaks:
I feel compelled to confront and potentially attempt to destroy this evil. It felt very strong to me so I know we will not be successful. I am willing to confront this being myself and allow all of you to exit...
Xandor Speaks: Yes, I agree we don't have to fight or interact with every creature or person we encounter. A great example was the Gargoyle in the Labyrinthian, for we were smartly engaged as we needed, and moved past it to the exit in a timely manner. This situation needs that same thought process. Warvok has given us a plan of action of utilizing the rear windows as an escape route. Assuming we can all make it through the window and be quick it could work. It is the best plan I have heard so far. Remember our great Principal Pouessai often would say " Adaptation is the key to survival". SO we must be able to adapt our beliefs, morals, codes, and our very actions to ensure our survival. Our survival ensures that Principal Pouessai's sacrifice for us; "telling us to run to ensure our safety" was for the greater good of Montravail and allow us to reach the full potential that he saw in each of us.
DM Speaks:
Could it be Csarker the Lich, of course it could. However, it may not be. In the end it's up to the group to decide what to do. Warvok brought up a good point about the windows as an escape route and although a paladin Taladel maybe you can swear to your god its destruction in the future once you claim a weapon that makes you capable. Just a thought.
Warvok speaks
Listen up. I am not a coward, but I see no reason to try and destroy everything we see. Sometimes its best, to live to fight another day. We don't have to approach the figure outside or attack it. We can escape from here. There are two windows in the back of the house. We can use them, and some stealth to quietly slip out the back and create some distance between us, and him. Or whatever it is.
Mike speaks:
It is hard playing a Paladin at 1st level and being confronted by epic level Undead lol
Im going to try really hard not to get the group killed
Sean Speaks: As a player, I never wanted to see his face ever again; especially at our level. If this mysterious figure is truly him we as players we can only hope that the Eagle Claw shows up either that or we can run away before he can kill us, or he just views us as to weak and to much of a waste of his time, energy or resources. Or it could be someone or something totally different we just don't know
I didn't think this would be the last we saw of him. But I definitely didn't think it would be this soon 😟
