With opportunity to take on Desicus the group decided to finish the mission for Captain Bluebeard. The group decided they are going to take on Desicus and his unknown mystery women after they finish Dwakkah.
I am happy the group made this decision and is continuing Dwakkah because I feel the battle with Desicus may be the end of the Sea Dogs and I don't want the Dwakkah write up to go to waste.
It was a fun night again with battles and unknown situations. You did a great job tonight as characters!
Kylor Speaks;SeaDogs, first allow me a moment to say thank you, Thank you, for the moment to investigate my family's situation and for going with me again. Things, could have gone bad fast if I went alone. While every fiber of me wants to rush off and rescue my family. I am smart and wise enough to know that it would be a fools errands. The best course of action for the SeaDogs is to finish the Captain's mission and recover the ship pieces. Perhaps in doing so we can find some items that can assist use in our travel to the abyss. I agree it was good to not go back to the Captain. In truth, I have never been one that felt the necessity to go to the Captain for everything; sometimes it is easier to just apologize and ask forgiveness than to get permission. Sindrax was killed, and even after spending 20, 000 gp of gems, the scroll of resurrection did not work. Thankfully Quavol has another solution to brink Sindrax back to us. I dont really see any difference in Sindrax appearance.
Let us not forget that last week Sindrax was killed and reincarnated by Quavol! This is unfortunate for Sindrax/Dan but what surprise may be in store for the group with regards to this? Dan has been emailing at a fervent pace!
As I have said before. I dont care. As long as I have Sindrax. No matter what race he would have came back as. I would have atleast tried to make it work. To me, this was completely doable, with a core race. And would have been very challenging with some.of the others. Some would have been extremely challenging. I do feel very good, with the half elf. Ohhh and just by the way, for whoever is reading this. Sindrax will be using a new set of dice. Those blue ones are gone.
I am happy to see Sindrax returned to us. It hurts my heart to see his elven blood changed...i can still see the beauty somewhat. But he is changed. Hopefully the change is only superficial.
I know this is the work of nature...but it is hard for me to embrace. I pray to Iomedae on it...
Now, that you have made your decision I will reveal that the conversation with Captain Bluebeard would not have gone well.
The Abyss adventure should be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to this as well. It should feel very different than your travels on the Prime and I hope I can pull it off as well as I hope.

I am glad we decided to go back to the ocean. And I am even happier, it was decided to just go back, and not speak with the captain.

Yes it was so hard to decide the best course of action. We just had to know the conversation with the Captain was not going to go well...
As a player I very much look forward to adventuring in the Abyss...
I cannot remember if we have done as such while I have been playing?
