So, we end the game killing a major creature, the Giant Eel! However, there is more to explore, and you have still not found the Angel of Hellwater. Is she simply waiting for your arrival with surprise and readied attacks? That would be bad. Does she have allies or summoned creatures ready to stand by her side? We shall see soon enough!
Unfortunately for Viceak there is a 42.6% chance that a character dies when the player is not present. Just speaking from history!
Kylor Speaks: I am impressed at our success with the legendary underwater Balhannoth _Blessed is Desna --- it underscores what we can accomplish as a group when we are united. While I did not feel that this course of action was a necessary risk to take ... I am glad about the outcome and that Desna has been blessed on this journey as well as Taladel's and Viceak's gods. Let us continue this teamwork moving forward because the Angel of Hellwater will be an even more difficult challenge requiring every resource at our disposal. We may not be able to rely upon our magic and will need direct physical attacks. I agree that we will need to try to use our knowledge checks to see what information we can gleam,
I feel I must say a prayer to Desna. For killing the behaolth. He didnt outright attack us. And when he usee his ability on me. He didn't cause me harm. He just sent me away. Hoping I wouldn't come back. And that poor catfish. That was his home and we murdered him and his whole family. I feel the catfish was just part of the killing spree. Poor guys.
I agree with taladel on everything, and that is some great advice. If she is in that last room. She must know we are here. There is no way she can not. We have been battling and such, so our presence is definitely known. So let's activate any items or buff up with spells. And let's go get the treasure. I feel the battle with the angel, will be extremely difficult. Just look how difficult the illusion battle was. And let keep in mind that she does have the power of illusions, and will probably use them again.
Wow that percentage of someone dieing, while not at the game, is pretty high.
We can assume that she knows are here and will be ready. We should of course not only be cautious but ready our own attacks and I remind everyone those actions must be stated clearly to the DM... along with the trigger to launch the attack. For instance, "I have a readied spell (maybe flamestrike, or lightning bolt or whatever) to cast as soon as she appears"
Let's also remember to immediately do knowledge checks to see what we can find out about her...she may have immunities to such...
