So, we ended the game with the group heading to the Labyrinthian which was the last request of Principal Pouesel. While exiting the group met a major adventuring group on Krinthius, the Eagle Claw led by the tiefling Deicide Hsui and her second in command the human Gromas Esferian (pictures of both posted on the site). They were cordial and the exchange was positive!
The Eagle Claw said they would help you get back to Montravail if you were at the meeting place when they were ready to leave. This sounds good but is not as easy as it sounds as you have to be there the instant they are leaving. We shall see!
You also left a ghost creature in the Beast Tamer Halls which has a greater chance to escape as time wanes on! You decided to leave it and not try to eliminate it. We shall see what happens as it did "identify" you with its glare! Is this the undead that will hunt down Taladel to kill him!
I didn't realize how much happened tonight!
Xandor Speaks: That is good, I was just afraid that bravado and that sheer overconfidence due to our newly acquired items may have changed minds, especially after the words of our dwarven friend Viceak. I agree, I hope that we are able to achieve our goals and can meet up with the Eagle Claw. Help to return to the great city of Montravail is not something to pass on.
Taladel speaks:
Yes your suggestion has already been agreed to. We are heading first to the Labyrinthian...and then will deal with the undead...hopefully in time to meet the Eagle Claw
Xandor Speaks:
I feel rushing in now and attacking the undead "Ghost-like Creature" is just sheer overconfidence due to our newly acquired items. I recall Principal Pouesel saying more than once that "Overconfidence is the most dangerous form of carelessness."
It appears I have a somewhat different view as to how to deal with the undead "Ghost-like Creature" especially considering we know nothing about it. We do not know its strengths, or weaknesses, we don't know if it can be hit with physical weapons or only magic or what kind of attacks it has. It is the lack of knowledge that is why I am suggesting we take a moment to head to Labyrinthian to see what challenges are there and once we complete that task. We could possibly come across a book of undead or that Zartand may recall some piece of information he might have overlooked. Hopefully, we can accomplish all of this in a timely manner and still meet up in time with the Eagle Claw and return to Montravail.
Undead must be destroyed. Another group may come along, free it and allow it to take vengeance. No supernatural or animated creature with no blood pulsing through its veins shall be allowed to roam free. My new scroll can inflict heavy damage. Free it and kill it!
What do others feel. It seems Warvok and Taladel have different opinions on what should be done with the imprisoned "ghost-like" creature. Yes, this will be discussed in game I'm sure but why not gain xp's and post it here!
Warvok speaks
I agree with much, that the Paladin says. For whatever reason, the principal wanted us to go in. It must be done. I feel we need to do this Labyrinthian, in order to return to montravail. I am gifted, and completing these two tasks, might be required of me to continue with the teachings of the gifted.
As for the undead thing, just leave it there. We don't have to kill all undead, immediately. I also remember the principal, taking to us, about when to restrain ourselves. I remember him sometimes saying we need to use our minds, instead of weapons. I guess I didn't agree with his words, until now. As I said before, carve a message into the stone block, for others not to released it.
Taladel speaks:
I hope we are able to meet up with the Eagle claw for a trip back to Montravail....
We have to complete our tests at the Labyrinthian, and then destroy the undead captive in the Beast Tamer Hall....so let us try and and be expeditious as possible.
The very existence of that evil spirit is truly bothersome to me. I lean upon my faith and service to Iomedae for the strength to put it to rest for eternity..
Mike speaks:
Taladel will be doing the hunting...plus I think it put Zartand on his "to do" list before Taladel lol
