The group continues to explore the 1st level of this huge monastery. Many things have been left untouched out of fear, disinterest or simply to investigate later. Tonight the group unwittingly called forth a group of Ki Devils but were able to readily eliminate them. It seems the summoned creatures arean't the threat as much as the Monastery itself with its magics. There is still much to explore and the group did destroy the illusion of Nerull as well.
We start next week in room #9 with a Book of "Evil"! Sindrax already read the book and is now requesting the rest of the group to do the same! Maybe it is beneficial?
Kylor speaks:
We have explored some of this 1st level and still we have no clue or idea of what is going on here.
SEAN Speaks: I removed this influence from Sindranx via dispel magic and the use of hero points.
The book is not evil. I have read it and it has strengthened me. There is a spell upon the book. To make it appear evil. From I have read it actually harms ones of evil. This was placed here. To destroy evil, that has entered the chruch.
DM Speaks:
So, I posted some of these pics on the Mini Forum and got overwhelming positivity. What was most mentioned were the blue pews and carpets even to a point of asking me where I got them. The blue pews were painted by me so unfortunatly I could only lead them to the unpainted ones. The carpets were bought so long ago I could not recall the seller but I directed them to a search. I wonder if they're still available as they were purchased dirt cheap for their relative quality from China.
Taladel speaks:
I am picking up much evil from this book. It is a bad idea for anyone to read it.
Hopefully we have broken Sindrax from the compulsion he was under...
Everyone stay close to me while near this book. My aura of resolve granted to me by my beloved Iomedae will benefit you from any attempt to poison your minds...
And ALL has not been revealed yet - ON THE 1ST LEVEL and below!
On another note I put alot of time and attention to the terrain. I hope you enjoy it. I really wanted to depict the monsatery as best as possible.
