DM Post #1
First, I am starting at Post #1 since the site is new. We have to leave the past behind and start anew. It will not be easy.
So, I have a mass of stuff! Too much crap to put away and I continue to buy. Yes, we all know I have a problem. However, this obsession is good and fun. I just need to figure out, with me being the oldest, when I die where it goes. Who wants 100,000 minis and another 10,0000 pieces of terrain? I don't even know the numbers anymore but unless Justin wants them, they are yours! Now don't start hoping for my early departure to get the goods! Let's not even start with accessories!
Post #86:
Tonight, I bought some clear acrylic posts to use in mounting the two water creatures on bases. These were offered to the game for Christmas. One was the shark and the other the crocodilian creature. I initially mounted them on a regular huge base, but it just didn't feel right (pics below). Now, in truth they look pretty good as they are, but I needed perfection. Yeah, this could suffice but they had too much overhang of the base and that would interfere with battle (and simply bothered me).
So, after searching for the last couple of days I found a site with acrylic posts for a reasonable price ($9.57). I still have to cut them to an appropriate height and then figure out how to stabilize the post to the base (which will be the biggest problem by far) but at least I'm getting there. These minis are huge and weigh quite a bit, so I anticipate this being somewhat of a dilemma. Suggestions for stabilization on the base accepted.
