DM Post #1
First, I am starting at Post #1 since the site is new. We have to leave the past behind and start anew. It will not be easy.
So, I have a mass of stuff! Too much crap to put away and I continue to buy. Yes, we all know I have a problem. However, this obsession is good and fun. I just need to figure out, with me being the oldest, when I die where it goes. Who wants 100,000 minis and another 10,0000 pieces of terrain? I don't even know the numbers anymore but unless Justin wants them, they are yours! Now don't start hoping for my early departure to get the goods! Let's not even start with accessories!
DM Post #187:
It's funny how I've been on "hold" with future adventures for the Sea Dogs. I mentioned this before but until I see the outcome with the Desicus and Beluri battle I'm on a somewhat hold with any future high-level missions. Keep in mind writing or preparing high level missions is quite time consuming. Certainly "fun" but not as much fun when not played out in game and simply shelved. This is why I'm on a somewhat "hold" with future missions.
Now, you've been offered the "Gorilla Capture Mission" but typically I like to offer multiple opportunities. Right now, this mission is the only paid adventure on your plate. Let's see where the "cards fall" after your travel to the abyss and your encounter with the self-titled Desicus the Demon Lord!
DM Post #186:
Ollie is a "real" character now as I just made his initiative and status card!
DM Post #185:
Here is a picture of the fun "mess" I work with week to week creating things for the game. The minis in the background are ones of various other games which I've rebased and are in the process of being painted. Nestled between the posts is a plant I'm basing for the game. This is one I got from my daughter. Looks great to add to scenery or maybe even a plant creature for the unsuspecting.
Oh, did I say the secret word for a 500 XP BONUS is "Beluri is a Bitch". She really is. How does Desicus put up with her? 🤣
DM Post #184:
My daughter moved out of her apartment and bought a house. Good for her but even better for me as she had tons of stuff she was getting rid of which she thought I'd like for my game....and I did. It was a bunch of plants and things like that. Below I show you a plant I worked and modified to use in game as a cool, possibly magical or sentient being. I'm going to add some more shading and paint but I kind of like it now.
You can see in the background some other plants and flowers that I'm working on as terrain for our game. And other things!
DM Post #183:
All minis for the Desicus Abyss mission have been put away. That does not mean NO MORE DESICUS, but it does mean for now any return to the Abyss is more than likely done unless the Sea Dogs decide to go back by their own decision. For the time being nothing is compelling your return.
DM Post #182:
I feel the Sea Dogs are headed down a dangerous path and I'm worried. I say this for you to prepare and have insight. The Sea Dogs have added a new member to their mix, but they have weakened.
A Great Evil Enemy would be foolish not to strike now!
Just a heads up and know I play "REAL" with enemies (but like to throw hints to help - which this is).
I think you know what I'm saying, and I am DEFINATELY WORRIED! We shall see!
Maybe the ones or one I speak of have other important things which take precedence, but if not, the Sea Dogs are his, her or their target!
Some enemies don't simply disappear because you retreated!
DM Post #181:
So, Pathfinder and Starfinder (their sci-fi game) will be fully compatible with rules and their universe moving forward. I LOVE this as if I ever wanted to dive into some sci-fi beyond Krinthus now I can much easier. Having Starfinder be the universe beyond our Pathfinder/Krinthius world is pretty cool.

Tonight, I completed the write-up, creature stats and pulling of minis for a future adventure. It was far from complete before tonight as to be honest I didn't think I needed it with you exploring the Ruins of Dwakkah. I figured this would take some time and I had a nice cushion of time. Even though you recovered the boat pieces for the captain I know there was discussion of returning and searching other areas for the vast treasures that lie within.
With the Desicus battle interjected I felt I had even longer.
However, after the situation and circumstances last week I felt I had to definitely get it ready, and it is! So now, regardless of whether you continue to explore the Ruins of Dwakkah (which I hope at some point), go after Desicus again (which I'd love) or choose to do something completely different I'm ready. Of course, I always have multiple small situations and things ready when necessary but now there is a major mission prepared besides the two you are still embroiled in.
DM Post #180:
I'm getting to a point in collecting minis and terrain where I have to start seriously wondering where to put it. My storage room shelves are completely full of minis and terrain. As you can see the 3 bookshelves, I bought in our game room are also packed. I saddens me to think of my limited space for the ongoing rapid pace of collecting. I'll have to figure something out but at some point, there will be NO MORE figuring out and there will be NO SPACE LEFT. It's not as much the "minis" and is more my enjoyment in buying, painting and creating stuff. Besides the actual game painting and creating things is my other huge hobby.
DM Post #179:
I just wanted to say that I LOVE playing Thursday. If ever down the line, you wanted to switch I am ALL FOR IT!
You may ask why? It's simple. It gives me Wednesday Night to prepare and review everything before the game. Sure, I can do that the weekend before but as the week goes on, I come up with so many ideas that can improve the situation for both parties. I think of opportunities, chances and much more, but playing Wednesday doesn't give me the opportunity to modify much as I'm working all week. Sometimes I do a rush job at 6:45pm right before the game, but having this extra night has been awesome.
I HAVE NO PROBLEM playing Wednesday and will for eternity, but Thursday works very nicely 😉.
EDIT: The extra detail added tonight is a benefit for the group. It DID NOT amplify Desicus or his beloved Beluri's power as that would simply be suicidal for the group! I gave you some "hidden chances" to help the Sea Dogs in this battle as I think you will need it!
This Desicus is an evil son-of-a-bitch! He has desecrated more temples and churches than you know placing them under the worship of his beloved demon lady Beluri! He has taken the lives of so many innocent individuals sacrificing them to his beloved Beluri to strengthen her. He has transformed himself into a partial demon through agonizing rituals to become closer to his beloved Beluri. His ultimate goal is to become a full demon lord and then him and Beluri will conquer and rule the Abyss!
Is that even possible? Well, Desicus and Beluri think it is and have plans to accomplish this. Of course, this is after your interference is dealt with your DEATH!
DM Post #178:
I think when you get to the Desicus and Beluri destination you'll be rather surprised and uncertain what to do! Offers will be made but will the group be interested or willing. Does the group want pleasure and fantasy (not the game type) or will you decline and if you do what happens then?
We shall see but you are heading to a rather interesting stop! Is Desicus and his beloved Beluri even there? So much fun, mystery, excitement and battle await! There are some first-time, never before seen situations that the group will have to deal with.
DESICUS & BELURI WILL BE THE SEA DOG'S MOST EPIC BATTLE - IF YOU EVER GET THAT FAR!
DM Post #177:
Tonight, I decided it was time to prepare terrain and pull minis for the final showdown with Desicus and his beloved Beluri! I hadn't set up any terrain because I wasn't sure you'd continue the journey or if you'd survive. However, you have and now some exciting terrain set-ups are prepared for your Desicus and Beluri the Temptress encounter and BATTLE! I am looking forward to it and curious to see who prevails!
And for you paying attention to my ramblings here is a reward! A couple of pictures of the terrain set-up when dealing with Desicus and Beluri the Temptress. Can you make out any details?
If you shoot me an email or text with the words "COOL SET-UP" you will gain 1,000 xps.
DM Post #176:
At some point in our game, I'm going to place down a Shrek mini to battle. The question is will you recognize him. I've been ripping apart this mini for quite a while making him look completely different than you'd expect. It's still a work in progress but I'll show you before & after pictures when you encounter him!
You make ask "why would I buy a shrek mini" and that would be a fair question. The reason was it was very cheap for a HUGE MINI and I wanted to be creative and see what I could do with him. He is an ogre after all or was before my desecration of the poor green fellow.
It would be hysterical if Shrek kills, the group instead of Desicus! 🤣
DM Post #175:
Just an FYI -
I HAVE NO MISSION READY AFTER DESICUS!
I Really Don't.
HMMMMMM?
What does that say?!
"I am all, I am everything and I am the Abyss. Feed me more mortal souls and strengthen me even more."
DM Post #174:
The entire Desicus mission has now been printed. I read it over, modified some things due to time lapse and double checked a few last-minute things. It is not an exceptionally long paged written mission but is lengthy regardless. What I mean is that although there may not be 50+ pages written the encounters and situations you will engage in can be lengthy. Some may be tough battles, interesting and devious dealings and much more!
How this ends is yet to be determined, but Desicus is waiting, and he will NOT let his goals be hindered by a bunch of sea faring individuals. You are sailors, not true adventurers or heroes. Desicus laughs at you and your far-reaching attempt to destroy him and his conversion of all the good churches of Krinthius and far beyond. He will reach his epic status he desires and right now ONLY YOU stand in his way if you pursue this. He is an ugly looking individual.
DM Post #172:
I felt I had to post the pics of the hundreds of minis I have gotten. There must be about 500+ and ALL will be rebased. I would never present minis with their dial base at our table. Sure, it would cost MUCH less but I need our black bases on the table, I ordered the bases and am waiting for their delivery tomorrow, I ordered 500 which I hope will be sufficient!
Additionally, tomorrow I will exchange Christmas gifts with my immediate family and see what huge minis were bought from my Wishlist. I'll be heading to my daughter's house and doing a belated gift exchange as she worked Christmas. I am excited to see what I get and of course seeing her 🤣
DM Post #171:
First, Merry Christmas as my "Eve Party" is now over and before I went to bed, I had to post something! Just want to say this Christmas Eve was the best I've had in many years as my mom, sister, and Godsons were all here! It was pretty awesome, and they're all still here until the New Year!
But when all left or went to bed I came down to work on minis and game stuff, but I'm now heading to bed as I have to be ready for Christmas Day in about 4 hours! I'll be ready as I never drink at family parties (0 drinks), but when I came down to work on the game, I had a couple but that's nothing.
Send a "Merry Christmas Desicus" text or email and get 2,000 xp's for the holidays! We must be kind to all, even our enemies during the holidays! 🤣
DM Post #170:
After the game I caved into the great mini offer which I mentioned tonight. I bought 530 Mage Knight figures for $149. The deal with tax and shipping was not as great as I hoped but it is still good enough. The mini cost was only $115 but tax and shipping was the killer.
I also bought 300 bases for the minis when rebased for $47.99.
I spent a bit more than I wanted but I'm still good with the deal to place them down on the table when needed.
DM Post #169:
I've been somewhat hesitant to work on future missions for the Sea Dogs. The reason is simple, and it has to do with Desicus. Developing, reading and preparing high level adventures is very time consuming. After Dwakkah I'm confident the group is going after Desicus (which is all prepared), but after this I'm not sure the Sea Dogs will still be around.
I have a feeling that Desicus will come out on top, and the Sea Dogs will fall. If that's the case, then any preparation for future high-level missions would be a waste.
Of course, I don't want to underestimate Dwakkah as there are very serious dangers, but I believe some would ensure their survival by a prompt departure if necessary so Desicus (depending on who survives possibly) will be on the list of things needed to be done!
DM Post #168:
I just wanted to say I think the leadership of the Sea Dogs (Kylor and Sindrax) have done an excellent job. I feel leadership, I feel direction and I feel group unity which comes from strong leadership.
It's never easy leading a group of powerful, adventurous individuals with many different desires, but the current leadership has done an exceptional job with that!
Just wanted to bring these thoughts out to compliment the current leaders. Of course, this is as of now and things can change in an instant.
