SeaDogs Next Big Task

SeaDogs: Our next big task is confronting Desicus due to Taladel using a personal Trump. Afterwards, I ask what is next. Captain Bluebeard's needs/mission come first and then the needs of the Wicked Wench. In the past we have accomplished several tasks for Viceak, saving his father, rescuing the dwarves for his God, him going off with dwarves, just to name a few. We have also accomplished tasks for Taladel, such as obtaining his holy weapon and furthering the causes of his goddess, as well as this most recent Desicus situation. Moving forward I want to put the needs of some of the other SeaDogs front and center. This is the place to put those needs and desires out here so that we can all be aware of them.

Ah, Desicus! I'm sure Taladel wants this done, but can others identify with a reason? If not, he will continue his dominance, growth and toppling of the weak, good and any temple dedicated to a god other than his. Desicus has grown significantly in strength. With each toppled church, temple or monastery, he grows stronger gifted by his god with his accomplishment. Other well-known, high-powered NPC's have attempted to deal with him with no success. He continues to grow in strength soon reaching an epic status!

Multiple forces of good banding together is easier said than done. I'll just start with simple ego. Adventuring groups want to do it alone for the prestige, treasure, acclaim, confidence and a "feather in their cap". Good, neutral or evil all have feelings such as this. Powerful adventuring groups are not a dime a dozen. If we dwindle this down to powerful good groups, the numbers decrease significantly. Krinthius doesn't have 20+ good adventuring groups of sufficient power that have him in their sight. The world is huge and there are so many dangers that need to be dealt with. Desicus isn't the Ghlavis Rho or the Dark Intrusion where he is impacting the world. He is causing issue with select temples and churches to gain strength. He is intelligent to know which to tackle and not cause a stir until he has no fear and will take on anything.

Will that happen? Who knows, but asking why other groups haven't taken up the challenge is the same as asking why the Sea Dogs haven't taken out the Kraken which is a direct danger to the Wicked Wench and they're ability to earn coin and survive.

There are many sea faring folk clamoring as to why Captain Bluebeard and his fearsome special force hasn't dealt with the Sessara the Sea Hydra, the Overcloth Guild or Tremfor the Salt Lord. 😉

Kylor Speaks: My personal goals include finding out about my parents (Who are they? What races? Family history? ) and why he was abandoned in Montravail. Kylor also wants to find and work with a group of sorcerers - to learn from and to help understand his own power ...
