Hey all:
I am curious to get your thoughts on what enemy, adversary, oppositional individual or organization you remember, enjoy and think of as really awesome. They can be ones defeated in the past, ones still alive and waiting, ones that have been passed by due to strength or simply ones you know of or met that you feel are really cool and awesome. I am asking this for reasons within the game. If you don't recall a name, simply give a description and we can figure out the name. I have my thoughts and will post as well but am curious to see if any of mine are what you may choose. I have one in particular that I am always thinking about! Let's see if any choose it!
Double XP bonus for posting to this topic!
I also think that Matron Mother Banera is among my top villains... the environment, the lack of knowledge of the drow, the lack of power by not being drow, with every interaction at a severe disadvantage, within this campaign made every action vital, a dance between death, pain, and utter ruin.
I think that I am a little partial to the vampire who was the master of a keep and had a blue dragon as one of his servants.
After the group's success against the blue dragon and the vampire. The keep became the Beacon of Light. Which eventually become the great city of the Beacon. The Beacon then gave us another great adversary Kwa and his minions.
A more recent adversary is Sir Chivoroz/Strahd Von Zorovic. Strahd was a fantastic and genuinely frightning villain. His control over his plane and his castle. The way he worked with the group made him a truly memorable and entertaining adversary. The way the group didn't know what to do and second and triple guessed each and every action with him
Czarker for sure. Missing (2) low saving throws will haunt me for years. I should have gutted him like a pig! Who was the evil dude that tracked us from the Emerald Spire? I can't remember his name. He is also memorable.
Csarker the Lich is certainly one to be remembered. Sure, he was a lich, but he was so much more and as you mentioned had two epic episodes with the group. He is still alive which makes him even more enjoyable and entertaining for me.
King Azed is going way back in time. The picture I have of him is so old looking you can tell it was chosen when pics on the internet were not at a premium. I still have Fort Azed saved on my computer and it was last updated 6/5/09! That's 13 years ago!
Cisarker the Lich for sure....very powerful...he defeated one party and had to be bypassed by the next party...
There is one part of the world. I have always had a love for. And that has been King Ahzad. What ever happened to this city. I remember there was a thing with the legend of sword. Did they have a war?
I also have alot of interest in the ranger conclave. We never really hear about what they do.
