Wow, we just took down and entire community. That was alot and they just keep coming. But we did it. It wasnt easy. And it really seems like nothing is easy in this place.
You Sea Dogs are a tuff group! Being so tuff, I look forward to how you handle the challenges in the Deacon Ocean in these ruins of Dwakkah! Oh, there is so much to gain, but at what price. There are epic items in these ruins yet to be discovered. Can the Sea Dog's find them? I hope.
You are a sea-faring group, so I'm happy you're on a mission which amplifies your abilities in dealing with this environment. For those that put ranks into relevant skills it will pay off. You've had adventures on the seas, but this is one that is beneath the waters.
With this adventure I have the opportunity to pull so many aquatic creatures which don't get used that often. It's fun and great! You've seen some areas seem to be populated and established. This can be worrisome as you may be infiltrating established underwater groups which have a leader and guards.
I look forward to next week's game and the bonus word of the week for 1,000 xp's is as Sindrax put it "Kill Em' All"!!
Kylor Speaks: Yes, my SeaDogs, today we faced a challenge where we were severely outnumbered and not in a good tactical position. The goddess Desna blessed us with good luck. Yes, my magick allowed me to call upon the lightning's fury to our enemies. Each of us was vital to our success. As we have seen, each area will be a challenge, we have to be open to just gathering information on a section especially if it seems too challenging. There is nothing wrong with returning better prepared. I disagree. We should only return to the Wicked Wench when we find a piece. Captain Bluebeard made the point several times: All he wants is the four pieces of the ship; all other treasure is ours. We don't need to rest upon the ship. Captain Bluebeard knows he can trust us to do the task and he knows that while we may not finish quickly we will be through and be successful at the task he has given. He also wants us to use this opportunity to strengthen the SeaDogs ... because the more powerful we are the more power the Wicked Wench and Captian BlueBeard is ultimately. So the treasure will be ours. That said, we need to search this area thoroughly, who knows what we will find here
I can teleport us to a number of spots on Krinthius ... i would prefer to stay away from major cities unless we need something to assure our success or to secure treasure
Just to let everyone know. When I went inside the shell. I did see a couple of things, that are/could be of value. I did some of those shells, used for money. And a set of bracers. And that is just stuff I just saw. We might find a bunch more stuff, if we search these, shell houses. We definitely need to take time and search. Who knows what we will find. I am thinking , if we go back to the wicked wench, to rest. That the captain, be given some of these money shells. I know he said he just wants the 4 pieces. But it would look better on our part. And show that our time down here. Even though we didnt find any more pieces yet. That our time here is still beneficial. Especially if we come back to ship to rest, without another piece. The shells, could offset, a not so favorable interaction. Between us and the captain. Just saying.
I agree searching and investigating each area to obtain treasure is vital since this is a real opportunity which could power up the SeaDogs, which in my opinion outweighs the threat.
Yes i agree it is ok to return better prepared for a task, we just don't want to have multiple pieces of open business that could come back to haunt us. One or more of these threats could pursue the group and an unfortunte moments. What if the Night Queen has been monitoring and assaults us on the heels..... or even during the Medusa battle? Lets not skip around recklessly,,,

Taladel speaks:
I hope we can wield our might more judiciously than described 😁
But yes that was quite a threat with those numbers. Kylor brought the storm to them for sure...
Im glad we didn't just table this encounter and continue to add to our list of unfinished business.
There is much evil here. And I am happy to tackle the most powerful to be found!
Now let us search the shells for what we came for....
