GOAL OF THE GAME
The goal is simple and that's to complete the final layer (24) before anyone else does.
BOX CHOICE
Each week players roll the D20 with the highest roll getting to choose which box (1-6) they want that week. This will continue until all players have chosen a box. Each box can only be chosen once so if chosen the next players must choose a different box. Beneath each box are varying results from damage, healing plus other things.
HP’S
Each player starts with 50 hp’s. As mentioned above many boxes cause HP damage and if a player drops below 0 HP’s, they move back 1D4 Layers on the board (determined by their D4 roll that week).
MOVE AGAIN ABILITY (D4 ROLL) – 3x
You have 3 uses of this ability throughout the game. After the results of each box chosen are revealed, players may use their D4 roll to move that many spaces on the board to a different box than they originally landed on. They will move a number of spaces equal to their D4 roll that week. The move always goes from left to right (lower # to higher #). If their D4 roll pushes them beyond space #6 they will move to space #1 and continue their move until their number has been completed. The player will then use the results of the new box. More than 1 player may use the results of the same box with this ability.
GROUP BLAST ABILITY - 3x
You have 3 uses of this ability throughout the game. When used you blast ALL opposing players on the board back 1D2 Layers. Each player moves back a different number of layers determined by a random DM ROLL.
SINGLE BLAST ABILITY - 3x
You have 3 uses of this ability throughout the game. When used you blast ONE player of your choice back 1D4 Layers determined by YOUR weekly D4 roll.
DAMAGE
Whenever a player lands on a damaging box these hp’s are removed from your 50 hp total. Again, if you fall to 0 hp’s or below you move back 1D4 Layers determined by YOUR weekly D4 roll.
HEALING
Some boxes offer healing. However, your HP total can never exceed 50 HP’s. If you land on a healing box and it brings you over 50 hp’s those extra hp’s are lost. The healing hp’s will otherwise be added to your total.

The first player to get past layer 24 alive!

DM Speaks:
Changes have been made again. Mostly to the boxes in the game but also to the awards at the end. Considering the randomness of choosing a box I have added boxes which will grant you the possibility of XP benefits, ability point benefits and others. This game should be a fun challenge and all players, win or lose, may gain a tremendous amount maybe even more than the winner if really lucky! Look at this game as a fun "outside the box" hopeful gain for your characters.
It will not start until after the new player does and probably a bit after to get him acclimated to us and the game. These posts are keeping you up to date and in the loop with the game. I am still happy to hear thoughts, revisions or suggestions.
DM Speaks:
Glad all seems to work for everyone now. I figured the potions are not overly powerful so offering some to everyone is ok. Ten in total shouldn't be game breaking.
This game looks like it can be a lot of fun. The rules are very straightforward. It appears to combine both strategy and luck. I also espouse the thought of "Just know we do not expect these games to be based on the "everyone is a winner and gets a trophy" premise" that Mike mentioned earlier. Thank you for hearing our concerns and making changes.
DM Speaks:
With all the ruckus over the worry of an xp loss I present you with the draft of the new game. Take a read, ask any questions and let me know thoughts. The game board has so many different options and game mechanics. Almost ALL don't require any attention from you but rely on your weekly dice rolls. This is easier for me and you. The only time you need to communicate would be when you are using a special ability as is usual with the games.
I just finished it off, but it will not go "live" for a bit. I'll re-read everything looking for loopholes, listen to any suggestions or ideas and ensure the game board is in working condition for game challenges and excitement!
