DM Speaks:
What a game night! Awesome fun in continuing to explore the elven ruins. Everyone gave equal input tonight as I can determine with XP checks for the game. Nice job and it's great to get all sharing equal say and thoughts.
The Deck of Many Things is so infamous that you have to pick a card. It is fun, exciting, mysterious and unknown so why not take a pick! Well, a pick could be devastating!
Either way we picked and:
AYMON has an ally that will KILL him!
ANGIS is drawn somewhere or to someone for an unknown reason!
SERVOSS is drawn to someone important in a large city.
We also had conversation with a GOD - DESNA! That in of itself is impressive!
That's it, I think. If there is anything else lingering that I left out, please add. What fun!
You can't resist the deck. It just calls to you, with promise of riches and power. No one can resist the deck.
DM Speaks:
It takes a very strong will (as a player) not to choose a card from the deck. These opportunities do not arise often so when they do you want to partake in the excitement. However, the odds are extremely likely that there will be a mix of good and bad pulls especially when players choose more than 1 card. If all chose 2 cards that's 10 cards from a deck of 22. Yes, cards get replaced back into the deck after chosen but still the odds lean heavily towards some bad outcomes.
However, how can you resist! You can't and it's fun!
Does Montravail have a geriatric doctor that can examine Grandpa Servoss?
By Gorum, the last card pull had me shaking in my loin cloth! We must be vigilant and safeguard the ‘Greenie’ Druid. Once the Sword is drawn there is no turning back and vengeance must be swift.
I most say Myth Drannor has been full of surprises. Of all different avenues. I wonder what the person, that Servoss needs to report says. When he sees this old man. Before him.
Mysteries shall be revealed next game but probably not what ally is hunting Aymon until it is too late! Myth Drannor awaits!
Radan speaks:
I was so hopeful when drawing from the Deck...and the last thing I remember was reading my card. I sincerely appreciate all of you sacrifice in bringing me back!
I promise to do all I can to keep the group safe..
It is troubling to hear of what has befallen Aymon, as not only does it represent danger...but it can undermine trust in the people close to him!
Where do we have to go to answer the call for Servoss and Angis?
