DM Speaks:
We end in area #45 with the group potentially seeing the stern of the vessel entwined within the twisting coral of the waters. Shall this piece be easily "picked" or is there more to it? I'd, guess there is more too it, but who knows. Coral is sharp and dangerous but is this coral surrounding this piece of the ship even more?
These pieces were held individually amongst the various races as none wanted to give individual power to any one race. All races, however, knew this could be their defense amongst attacks by others. Unfortunately, war amongst the races of Dwakkah never allowed this to happen as they warred amongst themselves to destruction!
We shall do our best to remove it, without any damage to the coral. One way or another. We.will get the piece. I still am shocked that another piece just seemed to be in some random location. And not somewhere fortified like the prison.
DM Speaks:
Love the comments as they are thoughtful and intellectual as always.
The Sea Dogs are always on "guard" checking everything before jumping in. I guess that's what happens when you've been on the rough seas of the Deacon Ocean for so long. However, sometimes haste, makes waste...well not really waste, but more danger to situation.
The hesitancy in approaching simple coral may be silly, but maybe not! The Deep-Sea Ruins of Dwakkah have displayed many unnatural events and creatures so wondering whether this is one seems practical?
I offer this picture as reference to the coral understanding you have to get through it to get the stern which is embedded deep within. This picture depicts the top layer of coral, with the stern deep inside. It seems the coral has grown around it over the years. Look at the sharp and dangerous natural coral which can slice as sharp as a Ginsu knife. Now that's if it's simply natural coral. Imagine if it's more!
Perhaps the skilled hands of Syndrax give the best chance of successfully removing the coral without damaging the prize?
Kylor Speaks: SeaDogs, the stern appears to be buried among these super sharp and dangerous underwater rocks. We have seen fish make their homes among these rocks in other areas; it is the same here. Perhaps Quivol will need to communicate with the sea life here and have them move to a new area. However, our priority has to be the recovery of the stern because no matter what, Captain Bluebeard must have this piece. I agree with Taladel that the Stern cannot be damaged. May Desna bless us with her good fortune and luck in this endeavor
Taladel speaks:
We must be very careful and contemplate how we safely remove the Stern...we cannot damage it!
I don't think brute force will free it. Let's examine this coral closely...I pray to iomedae on it
