All Hands on Deck!
The group has started to discipline Viceak at Captain Bluebeards request!
Kylor, Taladel and myself were successful in our strikes. Sindrax missed his attack and Viceak sucker punched him!
Later Vicesk miised his attack and hit me. I then attacked him back.
Kylor and Taladel pleaded for calm and restraint as we were embarrasing ourselves in front of Captain Bluebeard and Queenie Red.
Viceak, Sindrax and myself have stopped brawling and are waiting to see if the Captain is displeased.
Takamaru is embarrased, because he allowed himself to be goaded into striking back at Viceak!
Me take it on the chin you fish-catching sewer rats. 30 seconds more and you would be tastin me War Hammer you rat-eaten nose pickers. Your punches are punier than when we poppin pimples on me lowermost. Your punches breed the gluttons of a lady with no hair on the chin you milk drinkin fly-fish…now pass me meese twelfth ale for meese head feel like get hit by Hill Giant rock.
DM Speaks:
It seems obvious the Captain is bothered by the infighting! His expression displays obvious anger and annoyance! His hand firmly grasps the hilt of his Scabbard strapped to the side of his waist with fingers twitching.
Kylor Speaks: We all know that Captain Bluebeard was displeased once again with Viceak's way of speaking to our Captain. So as is expected punishment is dealt out swiftly. We also know that Captain Bluebeard and First Mate Queenie Red watch to make sure that punches are not pulled and that everyone does as the Captain asks. None of us take pleasure in causing others harm, however, doing what the Captain asks and doing it well, can win the Captain's favor; for it demonstrates loyalty. Which only benefits the group in the end. I am displeased that one of us was unable to take his punishment and retaliated causing a fight to break out. This was embarrassing and revealed our weakness as a group. I am truly disappointed with the fighting.
Let's hope that we can smooth this over with Captain Bluebeard and First Mate Queenie Red as well as the crew of the Wicked Wench. To be honest, I was going to suggest that we eliminate a common enemy that we have as a group, the Alis Haba group. However, after seeing this display and lack of discipline, I have serious doubts about our success. The Alis Habba group has demonstrated time and time again that they are able to function as a cohesive group. I thought we were there. But today has shown me that we still do not have absolute trust and faith in each other, which is vital for a group to thrive. We have to know no matter what we will not purposeful cause permanent harm. This entire situation was due to Viceak not knowing how to speak to the Captain and again with Viceak not being able to take his punishment of a few hits, and fighting back.
Taladel, I am unsure why you attempted to whitewash your involvement with dishing out the Captain's punishment and why you tried to blame the group instead of Viceak for the chaos. I understand that you both have a long history together. Just remember when you point three more fingers are pointing back at you.
So I ask how do we move forward from this. How to we work on building trust and cohesion within our group?
Damm Viceak. Did you have to sucker punch me like that. Did you ever think, I may have missed you on purpose.
Taladel speaks:
Sorry to have struck you Viceak. It brought me no pleasure at all, and I put nothing extra into it as it seems some may have.
I am not sure if the Captain and first Mate are pleased or not by this chaos of infighting...but I am certainly not. This is not indicative of a prominent adventuring group in Krinthius..
DM Speaks:
We start next week with a fight between Viceak and Takamaru just ending on the Wicked Wench! Will this bring positive reactions from the crew or not? How will Captain Bluebeard and First Mate Queenie Red view this?
We shall see next week but the Endless Stair seems to await you as the captain finds it interesting!
Do you? It's listed as a module for 15-20th level characters! WHAT?!
